Emily Cullens in the letting team is extremely professional and helpful. Really pleased with way she has dealt with me and my family. The management team should take a leaf out of her book and pick up the phone rather than send emails all the time. Emily is a very personable girl the management team are good but emails all the time can come across the wrong way. Much prefer a phone call with important news. As I'm sure most would. Apart from that great company keeping us updated on the progress of a difficult situation.

Over the years we have had many different agents market our properties, unfortunately sooner or later we parted company due to the poor service and lack of legal knowledge of the agent being below average. One really lost faith in agents. However this all changed when Judy Graham at Clyde began to looked after us. She is utterly professional at all times, courteous, completely honest and realistic in her approach when marketing our properties for letting. She has the skill of making one feel relaxed, for what can sometimes be a tense situation. Judy is a breath of fresh air, in a target run business, full of people all trying to copy each other, often having no real interest or depth of understanding between Landlord and Tenant.

I have been with Clyde Property for over 4 years and have recently been assigned a new property manager. Jordan Kirkwood has been highly professional, a pleasure to deal with and has definitely gone the extra mile to try to make sure that everything was resolved to my satisfaction as much as possible. However, the standard of service seems to vary depending on who you speak to. In the past I have found that some of the property managers have been very poor when I have needed their assistance with repairs. Bad management, no care for furnishings and no proper monitoring of condition of rental property.

I had rented out a furnished flat with Clyde Property in the West End of Glasgow. It was in prime location and was our family home. I informed the letting agent before the rental in 2023 that I would be away for a year due to personal circumstances.During the visit by the agent, I explained the sofa and bed had been purchased from Flexform and was expensive and explained it would need care especially as it was a coloured cream. Clyde failed to convey the information to their regular client and he washed the sofa. It had not been dry cleaned and resulted in the fabric shrinking. Furthermore it was then forced back on to the sofa and the ends of the fabric became torn. It also affected the shape of the sofa.I had a management contract with Clyde and did not receive regular inventory reports. Even after highlighting the issue to them via email they failed to mention it in their inventory report.For 3 months I have chased to get the tenant and Clyde to get the fabric replaced and sent quotations. I did not get anywhere. Many further issues had occurred during the year where Clyde were quick to make decisions without informing myself the landlord. I am now left with a massive repair bill on a sofa. Clyde Property's response at the moment is to make a claim on the deposit and take the client to court. In the meantime they have rented out another flat to him.thanks Clyde Property.

My husband and I struggled to sell our flat in Falkirk with another estate agent. We decided to speak to Clyde property in Falkirk and see what they would suggest as my brother was letting his property with them. We spoke with Derek, the letting manager and he did a bit of investigation for us to see if the flat would sell or if we would be best to rent and save for a deposit. We agreed to let our flat and the letting side of Clyde in Falkirk have been excellent. Everything has been completed very efficiently and professionally with minimum of hassle. Moreover, we have managed to part exchange our flat and Clyde Falkirk have been appointed as the sales agent. Again they have been excellent to deal with and, as with the letting side, have a 'can do' approach. I would thoroughly recommend Clyde property in Falkirk.

Used Clyde Property in Falkirk to rent, sell and buy all in the space of the last 12 months. I can honestly say all the staff were very professional - nothing was a problem to them. During the renting phase (June 14 - June 15) I dealt with Derek Hughes who made the whole process very easy and simple to follow. Having never rented before Derek's guidance and support was very much appreciated. During the selling phase (February 15 - June 15) I dealt with Clark Gillespie who really did make the selling process painless. The house sold very quickly (within 6 days) only to be let down on the day of completion by the buyer. This was obviously very disappointing however the team at Clyde had the property back on the market within hours and the house sold again within a week! Turned out I actually bought the house I was initially renting via Clyde - again a very easy and painless process. Special mention to Lorna Ritchie and Anne Clelland who really provided a fantastic level of support especially when the initial house sale fell through. Overall the team at Clyde Property Falkirk went the 'extra mile' in all aspects and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We dealt with the Clarkston branch for the sale of our property and received a professional service from start to finish. Mike made himself available to discuss the valuation of our property and to go over the target market and ins and outs of putting our home on the market. He was also very efficient in getting back to us with any additional queries we had. Once our house was on the market we dealt with Kay, who again was very experienced and extremely helpful in advising us on any offers we received and the next stages of the sales process. The MyClyde log-in you receive when you sign up with Clyde Property is a great asset, allowing you to view every action taken throughout the sale process. In addition, we also bought a property through Clyde and again found them very pleasant to deal with. We would certainly recommend this Estate Agent and would use them in the future if we move again.

Dealing with the Clyde team in the Stirling office I have been impressed by their performance and support. I turned to Clyde after my original agent failed to promote my house and, more importantly, communicate any progress at all. Within weeks I had offers and when the first offer fell through Julie and Maggie were very supportive until a successful offer was made when they then helped me find my new property too so I have seen both selling and buying via Clyde. Steven Lucas provided us with the confidence that we could achieve our target price and produced excellent marketing material to accompany the sales process. Jennifer Greer was very prompt to add our finalised brochure to the Clyde website and even though it went 'live' late on Friday afternoon I was very pleased to receive a request for a viewing that evening. That proves that buyers are checking their website! Finally, Lisa Reddington sealed the deal by negotiating with prospective buyers to achieve 5 offers on a closing date - all within 10 days of going live! The sale of my property - in an affluent, much-sought-after neighbourhood in Glasgow’s West End - turned out to be far more protracted than it should have been. This was almost entirely a result of the agent’s insistence on focusing on what turned out to be a phantom buyer he had encountered in the street rather than go through the established channels of putting the property on the market with a view to attracting interested - and genuine - bidders. The result was that a property which I had been told would be sold within 10 days of being put up for sale will have stood unoccupied for four-and-a-half months between being vacated by a previous tenant and a new owner (not the bidder initially wooed by the agent) moving in. This long interregnum has cost me as a selling owner thousands of pounds in council tax, additional factor’s cost liabilities, and lawyer’s costs for a deal that was ultimately not concluded. In conclusion, I would say that this is an episode where Clyde Property’s selling agents should urgently review their procedures and resolve to sticking to established rules, specifically avoiding off-the-books deals that involve avoiding putting properties on the market in the established manner. In this case, the attractions to the agent in doing so were obvious; the prospect of earning commission money for doing less work. But the result was a non-sale that ended up wasting time and burdening a client with significant additional costs - and leaving Clyde Property with a dissatisfied customer. All in all, a less than satisfactory outcome.
