From the first visit to the actual sale was seamless. We cannot praise Carol enough. Excellent communication throughout, very pleasant, very easy to speak to and very professional. She was brilliant. Photos excellent. Viewings done with ease. We changed to Clyde from another estate agent and the difference, positively, was massive. We are so glad we did this. From no viewings in a month, to 3 viewings hours after the house was marketed. Choose Clyde.

We recently went to view a property at Balvaird Crescent in Rutherglen listed by Clyde properties. It had been on the market for six weeks at that point. We had spoken to someone in the street who knew the owners and told us that, the owners were hopeful they would reach the home report price.We went to view the property and there was no power working upstairs and no light in the bathroom. There were signs of damp and a large gap in the tiles above the bathroom window which also suggested damp.The person conducting the viewing seemed ill informed and uninterested. We asked about our concerns to be told they'd take a note and someone would contact us the next day.Someone did, but only to ask if we wanted to put a bid in. Not to reply to our questions.Despite it being a project, and without any feedback back from the estate agent it had decent bones and was in teh area we were looking for so figured it was worth putting a bid in as a project house.Given the utter lack of communication from the estate agent and some concerns we did put a bid in at £5k under home report.The estate agents rejected this and said their client was looking for ten grand over home report. Given we'd spoken to a neighbour and knew what they were actually looking for this seemed a bit odd, but we went back at £5k over the home report.This was dismissed again with a story about a cash offer.I have subsequently spoken to someone in the industry who informed me that Clyde are notorious for this. Their pricing structure gives them a major financial boost to their fee if they get over home report price.As a result of this we formally withdrew both the bid and the note of interest, as we refuse to be held over a barrel by a company who have no interest whatsoever in replying to questions from potential buyers.If you are a potential buyer avoid them as they will just mess you around.As for this house. It has now been on the market for seven weeks with Christmas and the traditional market slowdown approaching, it is not listed as under offer which means the cash offer was eithe nowhere near what they claimed the buyer was wanting of simply an outright lie to try and raise Clyde's fee.As a result their greed has lost their client a serious buyer. IF you're thinking of selling please bear in mind that this is the position Clyde Property will leave you in.

Buying and selling houses is extremely stressful however Clyde Property were excellent with both selling our home (Stirling branch) and our purchase was through them also (Perth branch) this eased a lot of the stress. All the staff are efficient and friendly. This is the third time we’ve used them and we highly recommended them.

Our sale had many challenges and delays (not the fault of Clyde). Having only moved 3 times in 53 years we are not experienced in house sales. Throughout the protracted process Clyde property in Stirling gave us the benefit of their experience with good advice and a calming presence. I don’t think there are many people who don’t find buying and selling stress free. The end result was a selling price we were happy with. I happily recommend their professional service although I do hope never to buy or sell again.

I approached Clyde Property in Clarkston after responding to a house for sale in Coatbridge. I viewed the property, around 24 hours before the closing date was drawn. I made a competitive offer (over market value and asking price) when I arrived to view the property, the estate agent was extremely impersonal and didn’t even introduce himself, or tell me anything about the property. Twice I called the branch in Clarkston, to be met with poor customer service. The agent who answered the phone was dismissive, patronising and condescending and cut me off several times mid sentence. I was told the property was going to a closing date, and the agent had stated it’s still in the negotiation stage (which shouldn’t be the case with closed bids) there isn’t room for negotiations. The staff at Clyde Property, all seemed to be cut from the same cloth, impersonal, rude and unprofessional. And certainly lived up to the attitude and snooty stereotype of the “South Side”of Glasgow.

GoogleI had a valuation with Jack in February which was really useful, and then he was good at assisting when I was ready to get my flat on the market. Everything went smoothly, although I probably would have liked a little more communication and information at the start as selling was a new experience for me. The portal worked well, I was able to get regular updates on viewings that way, and to see what interest there was for the property. Doing the viewings myself was quite tiring and time consuming, but had the advantage that viewers could ask me questions all about the flat that I could answer then and there. Rachel was helpful in getting the sale over the line. Her experience gave me confidence in setting a closing date within a week of the flat going on the market, and it went well with the number and value of the offers I received. All in all a very positive experience.

The first visit to discuss marketing our property led to a very considered and professional discussion. No false promises and a fair agreement on costs. Once listed Julie was our main contact as negotiator for our property. She did what she said she would do, called when she said she would, gave guidance and advice that made sense and was, quite frankly, excellent at her job. All round Clyde provided us with the best experience of an estate agent we have ever had.

From initial contact, booking viewing, attending viewing and throughout offer stages, each member of staff was so friendly, professional and couldn't have been any more helpful and understanding. Especially patient and helpful given I was trying to negotiate the process on behalf of my son who is on the Autistic Spectrum. Genuinely nice people.

We could not recommend Clyde Property enough for buying and selling homes. We bought our new home from Clyde Property Stirling and dealt with Julie - throughout the whole process she was absolutely brilliant. She made it all so easy for us by keeping us informed and talking us through the process to ensure we had all the correct details. She was also great for a blether and genuinely got excited for us which was so lovely! We would highly recommend Julie to anyone! As well as buying our property from Clyde, we are also selling our old house through their Falkirk Branch. Clarke has also been incredibly helpful throughout that process and it is clear he has so much knowledge in this industry. We can’t thank Clyde enough but especially those two!

Selling your home can be challenging, however the team at Clyde Stirling were great. I love the portal they use for monitoring the progress of your viewers and sale. I found dealing with Julie and the team enjoyable. I was kept up to date with everything and I felt they were doing their utmost to get the best price for my house. No hesitation in using them again.

We're are very happy with Clyde. Very professional and friendly property managers and team. Arranging a viewing with Clyde Property was straightforward, with a callback instead of the usual email back and forth. During the viewing, the representative took her time, showing us around and explaining the application process clearly. The process was very simple and straightforward. Throughout the whole process, Clyde Property's team, especially Judy, was incredibly helpful and responsive to our questions. After moving in, reporting minor repairs through their online portal was convenient, and we were impressed by the quick response from their maintenance team.Overall, our experience with Clyde Property has been smooth and efficient, making them a firm we'd happily recommend to others.

We have had a really positive experience with Clyde Property- particularly Nicola from the Bearsden branch. We are currently buying a property being sold though Clyde property and communication has been fantastic from the first phone call to arrange a viewing. Unfortunately we are selling our property through Slater Hogg and communication has been poor- having to reach out for updates constantly and struggling to get through at all at times. Nicola from Clyde has stepped in for us and has essentially liaised with slater Hogg on our behalf to keep us updated on the entire process. Her efforts have greatly eased our anxiety during what has been a fairly stressful time and we’re so grateful.

TrustpilotTerrible Maintenance Service
Really poor handling of a maintenance issue has led to no heating in my bedroom for over 2 months. The heater didn’t work when I moved in and no one seemed to even be aware. The issue has been treated with such little urgency that I am now left with a bedroom that is currently 4 degrees Celsius. Willing to charge high rental rates but not deal with the issues that are their responsibility as a result of a lack of due diligence before I moved into this flat. Senior staff members have been extremely unhelpful in phone calls, often making me feel like issues were my fault. Really disappointing and would not recommend to anyone.
