Rollercoaster Journey but Positive Ending

Recently exchanged contracts on a house advertised through Gibbs Gillespie, our journey hasn't been the smoothest but Luca has always kept us updated with the latest information and chased up relevant third parties when required. I hope the need to do this again is a long way off but when the time comes I would happily use Gibbs Gillespie again.

We are extremely lucky to have worked with Mr. Thomas Carroll as our home listing agent. Mr. Carroll and his team (Mr. Tom Furber particularly) are very professional and hardworking- we appreciate it greatly. He has given us very helpful advice about our home and provided a right price for the market. His marketing team has also done a very good job on marketing and staging the home, as well as taking really nice photos and writing amazing descriptions. He puts a lot of attention to detail and is great at communicating with clients effectively, which made selling our home a smooth process. Overall, we are very happy due to the service which Mr. Carroll has provided. Mr. Thomas Carroll and his team are my highest recommendation.

Very disappointed in the service I received. On 4 separate occasions I was promised someone would get back to me and no one did. I booked a viewing for a property for a certain time, after not receiving confirmation after a few hours I called back and when the confirmation did come through it was for the wrong time! Having moved things around in my diary I was able to make the new viewing appt time I was informed 1 hour prior to the viewing that the time had now been changed to the originally agreed time once again! Fed up and frustrated I cancelled my viewing appointment, only to get a response back from the team an hour later saying that the team regretted to inform me that the let had already been agreed for this property! For a premium estate agent the service I received was nothing short of dismal, I never normally write reviews so the fact I am taking the time to express my frustration in the form of this review speaks volumes!

Our experience of buying a house has not been an easy one. We dealt with various Gibbs branches through our search but thankfully landed on the Gerrards Cross branch on our 3rd attempt! James was extremely helpful and accommodating, knowing our working hours made it difficult to view properties during the week he arranged a late afternoon appointment that could work for us. He was open, transparent and helpful. Dominic would regularly check in and offer his support too. The whole process was smooth and timely in the end and as a result, we managed to land our forever home!

Total waste of time

Wasted my time this morning, booked a viewing for this morning, confirmed over email. Got a call from the agent this morning to confirm, but at a different time 30 mins earlier, which was fine. I then got a call 5 mins before to inform me he was running late, an inconvenience but not a deal breaker. I then went to the property knocked on the door and the occupier told me he was not informed of the viewing and the agent has not showed up.
