If you are satisfied by sales patter, glossy brochures & flashy branch ofices then you are in the right place.However if you want an accurate & realistic valuation (not a fairy story one that is solely to get you under contract) & thereafter a planned sales strategy then you may be disappointed.My experience of a recent sale (or non-sale really) proved almost every stereotype. Wildly inaccurate valuation in order to influence instruction & suggesting poor knowledge of local market. Launched without further consultation on either price or target demographic. Thereafter a steady stream of unsuitable viewings, no shows & wasted weekends.It appears that simply publishing the details to the well known property portals & waiting for the phone to ring is the limit to sales skills. The ‘database of buyers’ yielded nothing & I would expect more from a ‘leading agent’Far from reasonable communication, poor quality viewings & no cohesive sales strategy other than suggesting regular reductions or to reconsider speculative offers. Any sale is better than no sale, seemingly the thinking behind this. Really?Fortunately we weren’t in a chain & in no urgent rush so simply saw out the prohibitive 20 week contract (check the smallprint!) & will move to a more pro-active agent on a shorter tie in.Without the sharp suits, glossy booklets & slick presentations it is just the same as any other agency relying on Rightmove & Zoopla to make the phone ring.If you want a sale in good time & at the right price though you will be better off somewhere that the sales staff are a little hungrier to work with you.

Extremely disorganized and dishonest. Their left hand doesn't speak to right hand. Took ages to organize a viewing on a million pound plus property because they have two agents who don't care to coordinate with each other. Lied to us about the state of the property - saying its new refurbished when the property is actually a dump that hasn't been touched for 40 years as the owners there confirmed. Extremely rude when challenged on why they lied and wasted our time. Never going to buy or sell anything through these cowboys.

GoogleFantastic experience dealing with Vicky and Dev (Gerrards Cross branch). We found them highly professional, very helpful and very pleasant in their approach. Dev and Vicky helped us find our dream house, negotiated the best deal for us and supported us throughout the move. Another thing worth mentioning is personal approach. Getting a new home, moving, etc, all of this can be quite stressful. In our case we were lucky to have Vicky and Dev making the whole process as easy for us as it was possible. We felt that we were taken care of. And it was genuine.

I went to buy a property through this agent and all good to start with. Put an offer on the property and waited 2 weeks to hear back to say it had been accepted. A month passes with the agent avoiding my calls despite me chasing, leaving messages and even putting an ultimatum to the only person who would speak to me which was the trainee they had showing me round when I viewed the property. I ultimately pulled out despite all the work done by brokers, solicitors and mortgage provider which left me in an awkward position to deal with the aftermath. I wouldn't trust them as far as you can throw them. AVOID THEM and definitely don't believe anything they say.

GoogleI've managed a property through Gibbs Gillespie GX for some time now. Dev who works in lettings is absolutely fantastic, goes the extra mile, sources good tenants ,thinks ahead and has efficient solutions. He has the tenant and landlords best interests at heart. Very professional, gets the job done and nothing is too much trouble. If you want someone you can trust with your property who is highly experienced give Dev a call!

Non-existent. Have been emailing for weeks about properties and get no reply. When calling I get told I will get a call back and no one ever does. Awful estate agents and will be letting others know to avoid.

Unauthorized deductions of rental without prior notification or agreement, and they carried on for three months before getting resolved despite complaining on day 1 when illegal deductions was made.Avoid it if you don't want sub-standard Services from estate agent.

I was a tenant in Hatch End and had very poor service. Very slow to deal with issues, especially if they involved the building management company. But very quick to take every pound they can justify off your deposit.

We are satisfied we followed up with Mayfords on your behalf and we updated you accordingly.Finally, I can see you have agreed the deposit deductions and the deductions proposed are inline with the TDS guidelines and Landlord's request.Kind regards.
