GoogleMy friend that came from Nigeria as a student with his family was asked to pay 12 months rent upfront and with a guarantor, this is not fair, what is the plan uk government have for people who are new in the country? Many agencies are looking for excuses not to give house to new people in the country, even after proofing that they are financially capable
Hi Queen, this is a fair review of your experience, and I’m sorry that we weren’t able to be more helpful. It’s important to note that we have let many properties to tenants who have not lived in the UK before, as they had evidence of their income, and sufficient security. There is no policy in place to prevent new renters from securing great homes! As a rule, applicants must be able to show evidence of sufficient income. If, like your friend, they cannot provide evidence of any income at all, and if they also have no rental history or credit history at all then they won’t be considered for a tenancy, unless they pay the initial fixed term in advance of their tenancy commencing. GoogleIf i could rate them lower i would they looked at my flat and put an offer in then wanted to drop the price again and again and they had a problem again and again it was not worth the asking price they told the neighbours the flat was dirty and cost a fortune to clean it then let it for £600 per month
Bad reviews are sometimes justified and demand a public apology, but this one is not justified and needs a firm rebuttal. Our client purchased a property, via our sourcing service, from Jason Robert Matthews. The client reviewed his offer due to a structural consideration raised by the surveyors. This wasn’t towards the end of the process which would have been more frustrating, rather it was as soon as the survey was carried out. Jason accepted the reviewed offer. We did not speak to any neighbours after completion, if we had then we might have also mentioned that the furniture agreed upon had not been left in the property and that the keys were given to us a day late! The property was indeed let at £600.00PCM, as it was purchased as a buy to let, a fact that was explained on multiple occasions including at our initial visit! Summary: If you don’t like a revised offer then reject it. Don’t accept it and then complain. Don’t listen to everything your old neighbours (who you may or may not get on with) tell you. Your buyer can do whatever he wants with the property that he has purchased from you. And if you have an issue with it being a BTL then don’t sell to someone who tells you that they are buying as a BTL, or indeed anyone from a lettings agency. And whilst we are talking about what you should and shouldn’t do. DO do what you say your going to do. DO hand over keys on the day of completion as you are required to. DONT leave bad reviews of your buyers agents 5 months down the line. DONT use an online estate with terrible solicitors if you want quick conveyancing.

GoogleI cannot fault the customer service I have received from Rent North East! Organising viewings for a property was quick and very straight forward. Greeted by a very welcoming gentleman who explained their renting process very well. I was kept up to date every step of the way during the application process by Jack. Rent North East have went above and beyond to help me rent one of their properties as such short notice. I would highly recommend Rent North East!

GoogleTried getting a viewing for 3 properties had no contact back at all and each time I have tried contacting them I have had excuses and then found out that they have given others viewings and let the properties out after weeks of waiting. Terrible service.
