From the viewing of our new home and helping us through the sale of our old house, Karen, Bella, Sharon and Gerrod were always happy to help and have been fantastic with their support and advice. Shockingly bad record keeping, and very questionable handling of upfront rent. Not a good experience.

From the initial evaluation visit, through regular updates to completion, all JF staff were friendly and professional. GoogleI have just completed the sale of my property today. I am very satisfied with the services provided. Agent was able to view the property promptly and pictures were advertised immediately. 11 viewings were arranged promptly and I received multiple offers and sold on the first day of viewings. I was kept informed of all key stages and staff worked promptly at resolving any issues that arose. I found this agency to be just perfect and can't thank them enough, with special thanks to Jared. Will use again when searching for my next property.

Would honestly give them zero stars if I could.Not sure where to start. Probably the worst letting agency I have dealt with.For a start we were left without hot water for 6 days. Kept getting told the engineers were busy. Even though the law is to not be left longer than 24 hours.Barely respond to maintenance reports unless you constantly go on at them. They never get anything fixed. There was a window that needed fixed that never got sorted. The bath was leaking water from the overflow and it took 3 engineers to fix it… Not really sure why it was such an issue.They just don’t seem to care at all.Now that I’ve moved out. It’s been well over the time for them to get my deposit back and I still haven’t heard from them. Even after asking multiple times.I have been told I would get that information yesterday. But don’t be daft, of course I haven’t.So I’m having to take this further.Honestly don’t know how they are still functioning as a company.AWFUL. Avoid if you want to rent somewhere stress free.

GoogleWe received excellent service from Jan Forsters Low Fell branch throughout the process of our house sale from start to finish. All our enquiries and concerns were dealt with quickly and phone calls always answered immediately or calls quickly returned which eased any stress associated with the process. We felt the service was personal and Karen Dowdell was especially helpful often going way beyond normal expectations with help and advice. I would recommend Jan Forsters without hesitation.

I was cutting it fine to find somewhere to live in the area, but Isabella and the team did a fantastic job of doing all they could to assist. GoogleI’ve bought several houses over my lifetime and I must say that this time was solely made easy by the constant help and support by Jessica Nelson. If buying a house wasn’t stressful enough buying one during a Global Pandemic is considerably more so, the correspondence from my solicitors during the purchase was below standard but Jessica constantly managed the purchase from start to finish giving me the daily updates which is needed to lay peoples minds at ease. Jessica is a valuable assist to Jan Forster Estates and I would seriously recommend them to anyone seeking confidence in buying or selling properties. The company’s recent insolvency appears to have been driven by poor financial and strategic management rather than a lack of viable business. According to the insolvency documentation, the lettings and property management side of the business remained profitable, yet long-standing employees were dismissed with no notice or adequate support.

GoogleJust sold a house with Jan Forster Estate Agents Low Fell and I can not recommend them enough. From the start they were really interested in helping me sell the house. Russ came out and did the pictures etc and was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The people in the office especially Jess who I have mainly dealt with have been brilliant. If you want an agent to care, do everything they can to help and actually reply to you then I would go to Jan Forster. The service was so excellent and. Dreadful estate agents who sent buyers who couldn’t afford the house , sent unvetted buyers I had a sold sign up and down 3 times in a week , unfortunately my own experience with this company was abysmal from start till I gave up with them (4 weeks after in) of appalling service (which I was charged for £1800) and went with another company in Northtyneside next2buy who sold it in 3 days please save yourself the bother and check out all the other reviews on all review sites they are terrible ,

Jan Forster's sale/sold sign fallen off and laying in my pathway becomming hazzardous. I emailed them twice and still not bother to come and collect. Tynemouth office to this location is 5 minutes by drive.

We arranged for our board contractors to remove the board as you requested that same day. We can only apologise if this has not yet been removed.
