I highly recommend Gordon Brown if you're looking to sell or rent a property in Gateshead or Newcastle. Estate agents often get a bad rep but the staff at Gordon Brown's went out of their way to make our sale swift and stress-free and we couldn't have done it without them. They've now handled the sale of two houses for me and both times the service and market knowledge from Liam, Craig, Joan and the team was fantastic!

NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! BEWARE! 1 star because the photos and videos were good. Other than that, the whole experience was a shambles. Nearly a week went by between the photos being taken and the ad going live, and when it did, it was full of mistakes, typos and no one in the office cares. Amongst other things, it was listed as furnished when it wasn’t. I suspect the ad was written at 10pm after I sent a chase email and was rushed to get on RightMove. No proof reading or anything. Since the business was sold to Sarah Maine (around February) there is simply no care, no professionalism and everything is a rush job and amateurish. Yes, they are cheap, and I certainly found out why! There are plenty other amazing estate agents in the area- use one of them!!!

We found Gordon Brown via rightmove and we knew straight away that they were a great letting agent. They were responsive with follow ups and sent us properties we might like. When we moved in, the team were so kind and helpful, Ross told us everything we needed to know and was so friendly. We had minimal issues with the house but if we ever needed anything the team were always responsive and professional. We are very sad to be moving out of the house, as we really loved it, but Gordon Brown made the experience so smooth and easy. The team are so lovely and always happy to chat. Joanne in particular has been an absolute star when it came to helping us organise moving out of the property. She’s a real asset to the company.
