I have used Gordon Brown to buy and sell houses from for over 5years. As always, I have received excellent service from Liam Sharon and the team in helping me with my latest sale. We recently bought a flat through Gordon Brown and were SO impressed by the whole team (including Sharon, Gail, Jackie and Lynn) who were kind and supportive, and got a great balance between being extremely professional and also very understanding of the stresses and strains of property purchase. We knew we could rely on them completely, everyone replied to emails or did call backs within a short time, and they were proactive in moving our purchase along as much as they could. We certainly felt that the Gordon Brown team was a very safe and reassuring pair of hands to be in and would recommend them to anyone buying and selling property in the area. We were especially impressed with Sharon who was amazingly communicative, kind, helpful and went above and beyond to make our experience a smooth one. She was incredible at keeping us in the loop every step of the way, which meant so much to us, especially as we were relocating from overseas. We will certainly look to Gordon Brown when we come to sell or buy in the future!

When the time came to list our home, we knew we had to go with Gordon Brown - the Sold signs speak for themselves. Cheryl was great at helping us list at the right price to get the viewings, Craig took the most amazing photos and a video tour, and Gail worked wonders in getting viewings booked in right from the board going up. They even carried out our EPC too. We secured a sale within days of going onto the market, asked for offers in excess and got just that. The sales progression service was great, Sharon was always able to step in and help with any concerns or questions I had. It was a pleasure working with the whole Gordon Brown team to sell my home, and I would certainly use them again if and when I decide to sell in the future.

I rang for a free valuation and next day they came and took some photographs of our property. It was all posted on the web within 2 or 3 days. We had 8 viewings between the Friday and Monday and an offer was accepted on the Tuesday - all this within 8 days. The advice provided prior to marketing is borne out by the speed of which we received the viewings and offers. The staff were extremely pleasant and professional and have answered my questions speedily by return email and telephone. Joan is unbelievable and has actually been more helpful than our own estate agents in progressing the sale of our property, just so the whole chain doesn't collapse. Having used Gordon Brown for a few years now to both sell & purchase, we have just sold our house through them & the whole experience has been excellent start to finish! Pricing was realistic, photos & video tour highly professional & Joan absolutely held the sale together after offer. We have also used them to find tenants for us & again this has been a brilliant service. Without exception, everyone in the office is helpful, friendly, professional & nothing is too much trouble. Just wanted to thank the team at Gordon Brown, who recently helped us sell our house. From the initial valuation with Liam right through to completion I couldn't fault the service. Our sale wasn't entirely straight forward at times but the support and care we received was amazing. They really do know their stuff and the local market. They guided us and helped us with some tricky decisions, we felt very comfortable discussing our options with them, and I genuinely felt like they cared about us as customers. We can't recommend Gordon Brown highly enough. We had a few agents out and to be honest they weren't the cheapest quote we had but they had our house sold within a week at £6,000 above the asking price. Wonderful experience with Gordon Brown Estate Agent, and they weren't my Agents!! Yes, we have had more communication and professional service than the agents we instructed.
