GoogleWe were unlucky enough to put our house on the market just as the first Covid lockdown was announced. This of course caused a lot of delays and issues but Andrew Craig kept in touch, found work arounds and were amazing. I have just settled into our new home and I couldn’t have made it without Jack’s help. He was always at the end of the phone or email and willing to help with any aspect of the move I came up with. He made the whole experience so much easier.PositiveQuality

GoogleWe have just moved into our new rental with Andrew Craig last week and so far they have been excellent at answering any questions I had whilst getting the tenancy setup and agreed. Within the short few days we've been at the new address we noticed a few minor issues in the kitchen and straight away David put these to contractors to be dealt with. Customer service is fantastic up to now. I will update this review at when the tenancy ends having had the full experience of being a customer.

GoogleI would really recommend anyone selling to go with. Andrew Craig estate agents, we were purchasing a property through them and found Nichola to be very informative, keeping us constantly updated with any news and changes that were taking place with the purchase. I knew more from Nichola than I did from my own solicitors at times. Whenever I rang, all staff were very helpful, so big thank you to everyone at the Low Fell branch. GoogleI have just completed a sale and a purchase of a new build property with the help knowledge and guidance of Jack at the Low Fell branch. I can not find words to thank him enough for not only selling my property but helping me with purchasing a new build house although it was not through your selves he guided and helped me secure a plot as I had experienced a lot of difficulty’s and in all the years of dealing with estate agents have I ever experienced such wonderful customer service like it and never have I returned a second time to an estate agent as I did this time only because of jack as he had sold another property last year for me and I was so impressed by him that was the reason I returned as after all estate estate agents are just names which mean nothing unless they have person’s like jack who are there and that is the reason why I would recommend Andrew Craig low fell branchPositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

TrustpilotUnprofessional, rude, don't want new business!
I asked this agency to take over the management of my property (a house split into four self-contained flats), and initially they seemed very keen. Two flat were empty, two were occupied. They even took a rental payment off one of the tenants. They asked for paperwork. I gave them all there was and said they could get gas and electric safety certificates done on one of the flats that didn't have them - and I'll pay for them up-front. Then they very unexpectedly decided they didn't want to manage the property and very rudely stopped answering my emails. From the outset I offered to pay up-front for anything and everything that needed doing, gave them far more documentation than any new landlord would have. They said that because they "don't have all the paperwork" (read into that what you will…) they “couldn't” take over the management. It beggars believe that a company that makes money from managing properties doesn't want to manage properties! And so rude! They should not be in business.

I bought my first house through the Gosforth office and could not fault the experience. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, ready to answer any questions I had, as well as in arranging an appointment with a mortgage advisor. Alison especially, was a huge help in making the sale go through.

TrustpilotLandlord Experience of "Property Management"
Landlord - happy enough to take a percentage of the monthly property rent, for minimal to no work... Money for nothing. Paid for "their fully property managed package" (whatever that is) and they returned the property to us in an in-rentable state, as they did not even bother to inspect it during the tenancy. Save your money and rent your property yourself or use a reputable letting agent.Based on other reviews it appears they don't provide a half decent service to tenants either - disgraceful, no wonder landlords have a bad reputation. Avoid these crooks.

Made an appointment to view a commercial property for rent. They rang 3 hours before the viewing time to cancel the appointment. No reason for cancellation other then there diary’s are full. Rang back and spoke to manager who arranged fir a viewing an hour later with another employee but was advised she would no nothing about property and any questions would have to go back to then. View property which as it’s currently set up is no good for my business so rang low fell branch to ask questions I’ve rang 4 times in a week and Jeff messages and my calls havnt been returned, finally lost it with them yesterday after being told my offer had been rejected “she thinks” I asked her what’s been rejected abd she couldn’t answer me and said she would get David to ring me today, he hadn’t rang me back the previous 4 times so didn’t hold upMuch hope this time, I rang them back at 3.30pm as it looked as thought I wasn’t going to get the call back to be told he wasn’t going to ring me as the offer had been rejected so nothing to ring me back about again. I asked what had been rejected as she couldn’t tell me yesterday but after looking at the hike today she could. So I asked her if my offer had been rejected are you not going to contact me to tell me and maybe ask if I Wanted to put in a different offer which she couldn’t answer. I told her I’ve never dealt with such unprofessional service before and no wonder this guys property is still empty if this is the way they treat prospective clients. I would never ever use this company to sell or rent out a property so unprofessional having to chase them for answers which they were clearly not going to pass on. I asked got babe and address of person to make a formal complaint to and was told yesterday it had to be emailed to me, I asked them to emailIt to me and im still waiting. Shocking customer service.

GoogleHorrible customer service. Had to view one of the property twice and came back for the 3rd time to meet the landlords. First viewing, the agent didn’t even bother turning up. No confirmation nor message to inform us anything. I had to call their office 3 times asking where tf their colleague is. Waited for an hour and asked us to wait another hour as they’ll send someone else. Had to rebooked the viewing again as they wasted so much of our time especially travelling back and forth to the property. I could go on and on with this but it’s not worth to go this estate agency. Long story short, we really thought we were about to sign some documents and pay for the deposit but turns out we lost the property. I know there are other great properties out there, but what I am annoyed is that these agents dont even bother to help you nor communicate with you. Plus the amount of time you wasted to just view a property is just ABSURD!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with these people. The other reviews that you see are fake. The legit ones you will see will be on other review websites!

We arranged our mortgage through Chelsey at Andrew Craig, she has been incredibly helpful throughout the whole process, she is patient and very friendly which was so important for us as first time buyers. She always made time for us to meet and discuss any queries we had and as a result we have been able to make properly informed decisions. An amazing mortgage advisor, who is very thorough and efficient!

Would genuinely give them negative stars if it was possible.Sent them a request to view a house, told them when I was available and to contact via email as I can't use my phone while at work.So I received a phone call with a voicemail asking me when I was available, and then recieved an email with the same question.I was then signed up to property alerts which I did not consent to, I asked to be removed and then was asked for my preferences to update the search results. So I asked again to be removed referencing my previous request, and was told that I would be removed.So I then received 3 more property alerts and responded to say I had asked to be removed and I was no longer interested in dealing with them, and asked them to remove my details from their database.I then recieved a marketing email about the value of my house to which I again replied to say I had not requested these emails so to take me off the list.Then I got ANOTHER email telling me they were trying to contact the seller of the property I asked to view and checking if the alerts had stopped.I told them AGAIN to stop contacting me and that I had reported them for a GDPR breach since they were sending me unsolicitated emails.After this, I recieved another phone call, with a voicemail asking me to contact in regards to the viewing.Tl;dr, absolutely useless, fine with harrassing people and breaking regulations, and can't follow simple instructions. DO NOT USE THEM.

We booked an appointment to view a property in Dunston through Andrew Craig, we went there to find that the Tennant won't let us in as, Andrew Craig failed to liaise with the vendor! Andrew Craig never apologized for that!They then asked us to accept the asking price first then to show them proofs of funds before even we see the property!! Never seen such a failed unpleasant estate agent!

GoogleWe had an offer accepted. Whilst trying to sort out mortgage, one week later received an email asking whether we were still interested in the property, as we had plenty of time to waste and throwing offers left, right and center. Whilst going throught different mortgage advisors to sort out the finance, incidentally we found iut that a higher offer was accepted and property sold to someone else!!! I called the branch, to speak to Laura Major, agent dealing with this property, and after going in circles and being told that it was a cash purchase, they neglected to inform us that offer was outbid. Unhelpful and time wasting at its finnest.
