I had a viewing arranged to view a flat and meet George there. He turned up 10 minutes late with no apology and barely talking. I asked him about the time because I hadn't had a call to explain he would be late. Indeed I was on the phone trying to see if he was coming when he eventually arrived. I suggested that he should have rung to let me know. At this point he started arguing with me Citi g traffic problems. I said that's no excuse not to call and let me know. He agreed he had a working phone. All in all there was no customer service. There was rudeness and ignorance. He asked whether I'm ever late and I explained on the rare occasions that I am late I always phone ahead and apologise informing when I will arrive. He scoffed at this as if it's not the done thing. All in all he was aggressive and rude. Whilst the property looked interesting to bid for I will not bid because I do not want to deal with this company again. To put this in perspective, I do have a property investment business and other agents always call if they will be late.

Julie at the East Boldon office kept me out of the nut house.

I haven't seen any reviews here for Andrew Craig, East Bolden. There are quite a lot of reviews on Google Maps, all positive, so it's time for one here.I just purchased a small retirement flat through the East Boldon branch. I'm an old guy who hasn't bought a property in almost a half century, when the process was simple. Now it's a bureaucratic nightmare.If it wasn't for the lovely Julie in the East Boldon office I would have gone even more bonkers than usual. Julie was a calm, friendly, ever helpful presence, who kept me relatively sane during a long conveyance.I was delighted with the service.

I began using the service of the Andrew Craig agency in Jarrow in 2022 because of the relatively good reviews it had online. My job took me away from my property for an extended periods of time and in the first two years there were a few full-management issues which were normally settled without too much hassle. However, from the beginning of 2025, due to my prolonged absence, the agency did not look after the property well, enabling small issues to be fixed at overcharging rates by their "reputable contractors" who would acquire handsome profits through this unethical practice. The agents Sholynne, Joani and Denise have been particularly unprofessional and unethical in their dealings with my house by not doing the work they were paid to do, but also charging twice for it. I cannot say enough how greedy, nasty and unethical they all were. Stay away from this agency if you can. Would not wish anyone to go through what I have been with them.

Section 21 no fault eviction to loyal tenants

If I could give less than 1 star I would.We rented a property from Thornley Properties Ltd for over 10 years. Which is owned by Andrew Craig. They look great on the Andrew Craig website, but they remove all the bad reviews. Think again and be warned before dealing with them.Make sure you take photos and document no matter how small the issue. Also make sure to put in writing like email to them.10+ years of issues with our property. They did not do any maintenance to our property unless it was the usual boiler etc.No maintenance to the outside continously having damp issues which they did nothing about we tolerated living in that home due to the area and schools. The landlord evicted a family of 4 only 1 month before Christmas saying it was just busines even though we didn't mind them putting our rent up. They had started doing work they installed a new kitchen in April 23 which they failed to even get finished by Nov 23 when we were evicted. So we thought great, so we installed new carpets throughout and decorated. We didn't think eviction would happen as we had been good tenants. We paid rent on time no trouble whilst we lived there, so we thought we were good tenants.We even said to Andrew Craig seen so you doing much needed work. We stated we will also, which we did. Also I found out that they knew well before fitting a new kitchen and allowing us to carpet and decorate throughout. Knowing they would be evicting us.From reading other reviews they only seem to be interested in making money not matter how.Thornley properties ltd if you check people under companies house you will see for yourself. Must be a conflict of interest there as bias was definitely towards the landlord and not the tenantTerrible people and terrible company, similar seems to be said from ex-employees as couple of people have said you should be grateful to have a job with them same was said about us having property from them. We should he grateful.

I have used the Gosforth branch of Andrew Craig for a number of years now both buying renting and selling buy to let properties. I have dealt with Janet and Sarah for years and had excellent service from them both. So professional and efficient which is hard to find these days. My recent sale I was involved more with Alison who was absolutely brilliant the buyers solicitors were dragging their feet and Alison intervened and got the sale back on track, if it wasn’t for her I would still be waiting for the sale to go through. Rang to view a property and asked to confirm if I had my broker etc which I confirmed I had. Then bombarded by Mortgages now , their other business asking me to log into my mortgage account ! Absolutely furious they have shared me details without consent and ignored my wishes .I certainly won't be buying through them , as goodness knows what other data breaches they do !
