Greystar apartments - Visconti @ the Glen Camelback Rd Scottsdale

Greystar apartments - Visconti @ the Glen Camelback Rd Scottsdale Unless you have no choice in taking housing at a Greystar property it’s best to look elsewhere. Their online rating about their deceptive business practices says it all. This company has a reputation for keeping security deposits after a renter has moved out and there are numerous online complaints online this issue. Obviously, this is no exception. After I moved out, I received a letter in writing stating that a refund of few hundred dollars was owed to me as the apartment was rented right after I moved out. A few days later a Greystar representative left a message stating that a refund was due to me and that they were looking into having it processed. Then about a week later another representative emailed me saying that there was an error and a small balance was due. No letter was ever mailed out so it most likely means they fixed the books to have the numbers go in their favor so they would not have to pay me the funds owed. The mailboxes for all the apartments use a skeleton key meaning that one mailbox key can open any of the other boxes. The only time in my entire life that I had a USPS mailing ever go missing as at Visconti. Also, maintenance men on several occasions tried to enter the apartment as early as 6am and a couple of times during a weekend. There were no works orders present, or immediate emergency needs and each time was and outside of normal maintenance hours. Ultimately the lock was temporarily changed to prevent possible theft of property as there was no valid reason for them to enter which is a basic violation of renter’s rights.

We took over a sub-let lease for two…

We took over a sub-let lease for two months and we’re then told a renewal of that lease would render service orders useless. We learned that for 2 yrs others complained about poor conditions of carpet etc. Nothing was done. When I enquired about it I was told I would have to pay for cleaning and/or replacement despite it being a health hazard due to mold and pet urine. The ceiling fan was covered in a black residue due to lack of adequate past cleaning. Josh was able to remove some of it but we don’t even want to use it not knowing what it is. The service folks are nice and prompt but they are limited as to what they can do. We have a luxury rental and expected more for this money. Needless to say, we will not being renewing the lease. I will be contacting public health services in MN to see what can be done about moldy carpet and the smell of dog urine. Also, the street noise that we were told was minimal sounds like a roaring train 24/7. We have to use noise canceling head phones to get 3 hours of sleep. This is entirely due to horrendous windows. I will give my kudos to Josh the maintenance person who tries his best. Renter be ware.

I live in a Greystar property and my…

I live in a Greystar property and my experience has been very bad at Ballard Public Lofts and Market in Seattle, WA. The corporate office is impossible to contact and appears to hide behind a website pointing you back to the local manager of the apartment complex, who has been useless. Here’s my experience. My expectations of a luxury apartment are that they pay attention to the person paying the premium price. That has not been my experience here. Yes they address you with friendliness but in the end nothing really changes, so let me tell you about my personal experience, and what has occurred. I moved into a very small unit. About a month after moving in noise above me was so loud that it would jolt me awake in the middle of the b night. I complained for at least a month and nothing changed. Finally, they offered me a larger apartment at the same price but I had to pay $600 to move. I chose that option because I needed sleep. I also pay $35 a month for each of my two pets and $165 additional to park in a gated garage. Supposedly this garage is secure but during my time here there have been a break in to at least one car in the gated garage and most recently my new car with less than 6500 miles was damaged on the bumper. This is because management chose to assign three SUVs in parking spots right beside each other. These spots are more for compact cars even though they have compact spots as well. As for the pet fee, I assumed it, along with the $300 deposit to be for use of an amenity on top of the roof specifically for the pets. Some of the neighbors here never clean up after their dogs. My dogs have actually been sick twice which has cost me over $500 to treat them. I have complained constantly about this and yes there has been some change, but it is all starting again and I have had to begin complaining once again. One neighbor encountered a homeless man he had to run out (all elevators and gates require a fob so we still don’t know how he accessed a tenant only area) and I encountered two homeless appearing people at 4:30 am on the roof smoking pot (I’m told they were guests). My dog actually ate some of their emptied residual and became very ill. Most recently I have had a theft right outside of my door. And was awakened at 3:30 in the morning by someone trying to get in my front door. I live in one of the live/work spaces which has its own entrance on the street. It was a poor choice for me to move to this complex. Now I want to move out 30 days prior to the end of my lease and they are not going to give me any concessions. When you try to call the corporate office, they have no contact information and just hide behind a website. Luckily, I’m smart enough to figure out how to get the CEOs name and email address and will be reaching out to him as well. This is my experience. You may have a better experience because you may not expect as much as I do. So with that in mind, make your choice. With all of that said, I do want to point out that Dallas who manages the maintenance is the best employee they have. You will soon see a response from management that is a lot like all of the other responses. I have seen when someone has something negative to say. I’m sure I will have another post coming soon. There is little to no security patrol here. I have noticed a security officer every now and then who goes through the building and up on the roof and takes pictures of the time that he is there. He’s a friendly guy, but I’m not sure what benefit he is bringing.

I am extremely disappointed with…everything!

I am extremely disappointed with greystar abd lack of responsiveness from them regarding our deposit. we were never given back our deposit despite numerous inquiries. The apartment complex that I reached out to is not giving us any information other than that they want me to contact greystar. I am confused how this company is in business for this long. they are awful. I will NEVER rent from them again and please if you are seeing mixed reviews any bad review is worth paying attention to.

Unpleasant

Was in hospital for six weeks for my disability. During that time, a request was made for a lease release as an accommodation. The lease was not released, eviction proceedings continued while I was hospitalized, and my belongings were removed. No coordination was made with my listed emergency contact. This experience was extremely distressing and had serious consequences for me.

Greystar** is a slumlord**

If only I could give below 0 rating. GREYSTAR** shouldn’t be celebrated, they haven’t accomplished anything other than grift, steal, and climb to the top by charging excessive rents, and slashing maintenance costs with complete disregard for tenants’ safety and well-being.

I live in is 301 Silveron Blvd

I live in is 301 Silveron Blvd, Flower Mound, Texas I have been living here since Sept 2021 and the management is horrible. The manager Jacob Werner doesnt respond to any of your issues if you are a person of color. My trash was not picked up multiple times and every time I brought up the issue with Jacob he wouldn't even return my calls or emails. This went on for 9 months, till the time I started throwing my own trash and mind you, I pay approx $30 for valet trash. Incident which happened on Nov,29, 2022 where in my car was parked was .005 mm on the white line and the white lady who stays on the ground floor threatened to call the cops on me and called the cops. Who calls a cop on someone for such silly thing. She probably is a MAGA member or a unstable person to say the least. When I informed the leasing office again silence from Jason Weiner and Tee (from leasing office) started misbehaving with me saying that she has taken pictures. Yet another unstable person probably but the leasing office is filled with such people who will not care for your safety if you are a person of color. There was another incident where a white woman kept a cardboard sign on my window shield which had disgusting things written. I have faced several such incidents including death threats for no reason when I lived in Enclave apartment for 6 years but the staff was always very polite, nice and understanding. This place is overpriced and dangerous. If you are of Indian origin please save yourself from being misbehaved with without reason. This place is best for Trump supporters and they are treated well by the staff. The rate at which white people are shooting people of color, I am scared to live in this place. The management behavior is shocking and disgusting! I live in constant fear of being shoot by this crazy white lady living downstairs. I won't be surprised if the management of this apartment encouraged her to file a police complaint against me.

My experience with a Greystar-managed…

My experience with a Greystar-managed property has been consistently disappointing, and I believe it reflects larger issues within the company’s management approach. I’m currently a resident at a Greystar property in Hammond, Louisiana, and what I’ve experienced goes beyond one location, it shows problems with communication, responsiveness, and follow-through that seem to stem from corporate procedures, not just onsite staff.

This is my last and final review, beware

They block real reviews on GOOGLEThis is my last and final review , no I will not take it off and no I will not change it, my first amendment gives me the right to freedom of speech and these are observable facts you can’t change nor deny them.I find this “community” to be lacking in the care of others, profit drives every motive in this place from the lack of follow through on the things promised on initial move in , to the lack of friendliness. Look around the “community” people are miserable.PEOPLE!! Do your due diligence before moving in here, I made the mistake of not reading reviews. However I have come to be made aware that certain residents have been sued and or asked to change their review. Without truthful , honest reviews how do you Parkridge expect things to change? You obviously are happy with treating people like they don’t matter, it’s evident in every interaction I have with team members as well as people living in the community. (Everyone is rude and unfriendly)My washer broke, I put in a work order the same day, it took a second phone call a week later from me to finally have them regretfully call to schedule a time to fix it, i couldn’t answers and they left a message, I had a friend help me that same day they called who was knowledgeable and boy was that not a big issue when I told them someone else fixed it, I had to explain it wasn’t a company but just a friend.I will never rent from any Greystar property after this lease is up and I will never recommend any Greystar property to anyone including Parkridge. There is constantly trash around the place, lease policies are not enforced by Jasmine or anyone else working for her , nor Greystar. Rules for me but not for thee.Friday nights my neighbor constantly smoke copious amounts of weed, drunk drivers speed through over 30+ miles an hour, a month ago I was almost hit by one, I saw him drinking a beer in his hand.I signed a no drug policy April 7th when I moved in, has that changed ?My neighbor lets her dogs pee all over the concrete side walk. I have made this aware to “management” who in retaliation against my complaints has done nothing to address the issue..They choose to enforce certain policies but not others. Be carefulAdditional complaints that are here because maintenance doesn’t ever reach out to me and this is the only place I can put my issues: 1) My bathroom drawer has been broken since before move in, I put in multiple requests for it to be fixed and I finally gave up three months later that they not would fix it 2) smoke alarms are malfunctioning, at my own expense and for my own safety I had to out of my own pocket replace them 3) the exterior lights are constantly burned out, for my own safety I worry, the one above my entrance was burned out for two months until I changed it with my own light bulb (probably violating the lease for that but my safety is my concern and it is not the concern or Parkridge or Greystar 4) the light bulb above my car port is burned out, I would change it but I don’t have a ladder to reach it 5) my neighbor lets her dog pee all over the concrete sidewalk to my apartment and car, flies and other bugs constantly live around this area where the urine builds upNote: this is not defamation, everything stated is based in truth and observable fact, ALSO ALL PERSONAL INFORMATION HAS BEEN REMOVED FOR THE SAFTEY OF ALLNote 2: I fear retaliation from my management for bringing up these issues, they are concerning to me and I feel they should be concerning to Parkridge and Greystar but clearly they are not

So many problems…

The management of the Shorewood Apartments on Mercer Island, Wa is exactly the reason that property management should be on a local level and not global. I rented an apartment in 1981 and loved it. The apartments were charming and the property managers were in the office and very helpful.

BEWARE OF GREYSTAR

Everything is about cost. The garage door has been broken for over a month and Graystar decided to stop paying security. Shortly after that, a couple was held up at GUNPOINT in the garage.I have hired dozens of property management companies like Greystar to manage apartment buildings.Greystar’s draconian policies and passive aggressive upper management, permeates your entire experience.

Warning: Scamming Business Practices, Rude Customer Service, and Poor Communication

I want to share my incredibly frustrating experience with Greystar Management, which involved unfair and illegal practices. When we had to break our lease early, they initially tried to charge us a break lease fee of double the rent, even though this was not part of our lease agreement and they were able to immediately re-rent the unit. We questioned this charge, but instead of addressing our concerns, they ignored us for weeks.

NEVER rent from greystar

we had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience with greystar. i'd leave zero stars if i could. we received a bill for $1400 in fraudulent move out charges, and greystar could not provide photo evidence or receipts to match the "damage". in the process of disputing our bill, they sent us a new bill and added a $163 cleaning fee. it felt like they were trying to squeeze as much money from us as possible. the greystar representative, teresa, was extremely slow to respond to emails, and upon calling her, she was incredibly rude, angry, and unprofessional from the moment she answered the phone. this is the worst customer experience i've ever had and i will NEVER rent from a greystar property again. if you are considering renting at nine15, i would highly recommend looking elsewhere. there are thousands of reviews online from other tenants who have been scammed by greystar - listen to them

Rude, pushy, manipulative and dishonest

I've unfortunately been a tenant of Greystar Property Management for many years. In over four years of residency, the only positive spot is the superb on-site maintenance staff.I'm a severely disabled veteran, and due to the incompetence and mismanagement and probable collusion of My ODVA Fiduciary and Greystar, I've had the dubious and unwanted privilege and notoriety of rent and utilities paid late, late fees, utilitydisconnects, and actual eviction notices.I know of no one who could in good faith and conscience recommend this leasing company.
