GoogleRecently started my first tenancy with Reeds Rains Folkestone and would certainly recommend them to tenants. Found the staff very professional. I was very nervous moving from my Mums house but both Phil and Olivia were very good and clearly explained what needed to be done.

GoogleAs a tenant they charge extortionate fees, shocking considering the reference check only costs them £10 and the landlord also has to pay a hefty fee to let. Repeated confidential requests to the landlord without context or consent. Not trustworthy. Very dismissive after end of tenancy and refer you to paperwork as opposed to explaining/offering help. Also charge you £140 to end your contract, let alone the £300+ you have to pay for the initial application. I won't be using, or giving this company money again.

GoogleI’ve used Reeds Rains in Folkestone three times in four years. Once as a purchaser, once as a landlord, and just recently, as a seller. Each time, they have been utterly professional, informative, helpful, and friendly. They found me a first class tenant within two weeks of me instructing them. My tenant stayed with me until I decided to sell the property. They not only advised me on how long to give my tenant notice, but helped with advice on preparing the property for sale. They even offered to help find my lovely tenant, an alternative rental property. Absolutely first class service, all the way through. Sometimes Estate & Letting agents have to be a bit blunt speaking, to get things done, but Stephen, Adam & Paul, always did it with a friendly charm. I can’t praise them highly enough.

Having sold and purchased property in Folkestone and surrounding areas for the last six years it's became clear Reeds Rains are the No1 agent. I applaud there knowledge, experience and ability to think outside the box and go the extra mile. Paul pushed a sale through sales progression for me and worked with me from offer to completion. There didn't seem to be anything he didn't know or hadn't experience in his many years in the industry. Stephen impressed us with his professionalism and exceptionally well mannered always happy to help approach. Currently we have listed a property for sale which Adam listed for us , we were refreshed by his young, driven enthusiastic approach. Adam goes the extra mile and its a joy to be able to get advice even out of hours. Adams property appraisal was spot on price, he knew the market and priced accordingly rather than just telling us what we want to hear and wasting are time like other agents had previously done to try and secure sole agency.

I have a 16 year long excellent relationship with ALL of the staff members (and previous ones) at this branch. This extends back since it was a Halifax branch but was run by the same manager Paul Francis and a certain number of the same staff. As a property developer I have dealt with this branch both as a potential buyer and seller of numerous properties. I have dealt with almost All of the estate agents in Folkestone from time to time but none compares with the polite, professional and friendly service I have received from Reeds Rains Folkestone branch. Their fees are competitive and flexible but the main thing is that when other estate agents lose interest after a few weeks (without finding you a buyer) these people are as keen then as they were at the start. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
