GoogleAbsolutely brilliant from the start, I cannot recommend them enough. Lovely sales agents and admin staff. Very professional team and I certainly would'nt go anywhere else. Thank you Miles & Barr! A year later I went with Miles & Barr again and I cannot thank them enough for a brilliant service! All the team are fantastic, very helpful and I certainly moved out stress free thanks to them. Ive heard so many horror stores about estate agents but this does not have to be the norm, Miles and Barr are by far the best in the business. They know they're customers and the industry like no other. I hope all the staff have a fantastic Xmas, a well deserved break from the hectic environment you all work in but more importantly, I am a customer that will come back time and time again, every time. Thanks guys!

GoogleExtremely poor service and communication from start to finish. Even though our contract ended 3 weeks ago. I have not had any confirmation of this. The “for sale” board is still up and we are still on rightmove ! If staff do answer the phone they are full of apologies and excuses. Promised that same agent would show people round and would make themselves familiar with the house as it is large. We have had x3 viewings in x4 months. First viewing was agent who was our designated person. Second viewing a different agent who appeared x5 mins before viewing and asked me to show him round so he could show potential buyer who was waiting outside and third viewing I was asked to show person round as agents busy. Would definitely not use again and would definitely not recommend.

GoogleIt’s been really great renting with Miles and Barr most especially cause of my property manager Niamh Kennett. Correspondence with her was the most convenient ever and always swift. I had an issue with the kitchen sink and she made sure it was dealt with the next day. Also, I used to get locked in the property and when I made Niamh aware, she pushed this issue with the landlord and the door got sorted. She really made my first time renting the best experience. I hope my future landlord/property manager are as good as her.

GoogleWhen initially placing the retirement flat on the market staff were upfront with how difficult selling this type of property can be, especially with the large service charge attached. Kept us well informed throughout the marketing process and I was impressed by the innovative approach taken (a potential buyer enquires about a retirement flat, and staff encourage them to view all the retirement flats the firm has on its books). I believe this helped in securing our buyer. Good communications throughout the negotiations, including when the buyers solicitor went quiet a week before exchange/completion. Would recommend.

GoogleI both bought and sold with Miles and Barr Folkestone and thought the whole team were absolutely brilliant. Would like to particularly shout out Kayleigh, Sam and Emily. The communication was fantastic the whole way through and the process was as speedy and stress-free as it could possibly have been despite a slightly tricky vendor, who was managed beautifully by the team. I liked how I always felt welcome in the office and there was always a friendly voice on the phone. I'm delighted by how quickly the process happened and feel the fee was fair. Would highly recommend.

GoogleIn my professional life as a lawyer, and also as a buy to let investor, I sadly come across very few people who really stand out. Kayleigh, however, is one of them. I cannot praise her enough. She is pro-active, responds to everything so quickly, totally reliable, so pleasant to deal with and she has great soft skills. I have really felt throughout this whole transaction that she "has my back" - a very rare quality. Not even my accountants have managed it this year! Well done Kayleigh and Miles and Barr.

He was extremely helpful and gave us plenty of time to view and ask questions.Now it is Wednesday and and we have been offered the property to rent!! I have rented my house out with full management service for the past year.Upon checkout they sent me an itinerary of things that were required to be done. I told him exactly what needed to be done by the tenant and what I would do. In regards to the tenant the place is left filthy, damage to doors, damage to floors, rubbish left in property, garden left unsightly, items left in property, furniture in every room, moved and not put back. The place generally looks horrendous. It was like a show home when it was let out. Of which miles and bar took photographs. I told them all these issues had to be resolved through the tenant. But no they're asking me to pay up front for all the damages and then they may be able to get money back from tenant. Even though I'm pretty sure they have already released deposit. I have emailed, telephoned, but there is no resolution. As a company they do not care. This is caused me such an incredible amount of stress. This is called me an incredible amount of upset. I also told them to not do any more viewings because I did not want anyone seeing my property in such a state. And yet again they have ignored me and continued with viewings.Obviously no one has taken the property due to the issues.These are a very untrustworthy company and I'm extremely upset about the situation. I doubt whether they will resolve it at all. I know I will end up having to do all the work myself.

What a miserable experience the last few months have been. Issues ignored or I am told to try to manage it on my own. I feel so unsupported. Speculating that landlords love them because they never share the issues with them... I don't know how they manage to get the houses when they manage them so poorly.
