We were travelling down to Folkestone to view a couple of properties, so as another came up with Miles & Barr I thought I’d try on the off chance to secure a same day viewing. Callan Watson was extremely accommodating and made a couple of calls in the morning to secure a viewing for us- perfectly sandwiched between the two we already had scheduled. They were quite slow to get problems sorted out, and at the end of my tenancy they created confusion/worry for me as they did not seem to know that my moving out date had already been decided and told me I needed to give 2 months' notice, which I didn't need to.

Can not fault the start of the process, The Sales staff were brilliant, we felt they were honest and helpful, always coming back to us when we had questions. They didn't really have to sell our house as we were lucky enough to sell to our first viewer. We were not impressed by the, all be it, indirect pressure we had from their panel solicitors, despite our clearly stating we would not use them, they kept trying to get us to and labelling it as a 'mistake' if that is the case take note of our instruction that we are not using them the first time and do not continue to try and get us to sign up with panel solicitors.Once sold, although our Sales Progressor was very friendly and a nice person, we felt everything slipped from this point, we could rarely actually speak with her, we could always leave a message but she rarely called back, preferring it seemed, to email. She did eventually provide an adequate service and get things moving for us, but we felt only because we would not give up and continuously chased things.However, despite the disappointment of the after sale process, on the whole we had a good experience, the staff were all friendly and we can understand why M&B have a good reputation. We would definitely recommend them as they are, on the whole, very good at what they do.

This is my second experience with M&B in 6 months. I was happy to go with them a second time, even happier that I didn't use the solictors that they regularly work with the second time around, but successfully worked with Girlings instead. It's true there are a few bolt-on costs for photos, ID checks, EPC rating, but we were made aware of them before signing the contract. Apart from a bit of a slow start when you're so keen to lock in an offer, the committed and longer term staff were always very helpful. Having worn Rebecca Gravener out with the previous sale, her help was less necessary this time. All the same, once again she was on the case before the rest of us every step of the way. Lynette also, charming and helpful when the buyers visited for a final view.

GoogleI have been dealing with Niamh Kennett from Miles and Barr's property management department for a number of months now, after she took over the day to day management of a number of flats I have with them from a colleague.
During this time I have found her to be extremely efficient and has assisted me greatly dealing with both problem tenants and some difficult issues with the building fabric. She has been responsive throughout, always happy to assist. sometimes more than could always be expected and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Since my last review Niamh has been involved in some extremely long winded insurance issues and property maintenace problems and has yet again been professional and dilligent in her approach which has assisted me greatly in dealing with these matters.
I can only reconfirm my satisfaction with her overall mamagement skills. Thanks again and well done.
