I had no idea where to turn to when my mum needed a care home due to being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Kerry reassured me and gave me the help I needed and within days I had care homes contact me. This contact has lead to my mum being placed in one of the best homes in Torbay. I can't thank you all enough for your help and support.

I used the Carehome.co.uk website to short list homes. The website was comprehensive and easy to navigate. It saved me hours of work for my shortlist. I recently submitted a review care home selected for my mother. I was impressed that Carehome.co.uk were vigilant to ensure I was a genuine customer, and not someone working for the care home to promote a high rating.

The ladies I spoke with were all very nice, patient and friendly. They were also understanding and respectful. Its often a difficult time for families making the decision to move a relative to a new home because they require care. So its good to have help such as this service to help make lighter work of the process .

Can’t praise this home highly enough for the care provided to my friend at the end of her life. I don’t know how they manage to recruit such amazing staff! Every single one in every role were compassionate and kind, over snd above anything I have experienced anywhere before. Will be forever grateful I found this place.🙏

My mum had 2 weeks restbite care at leawood manor. It was a lovely home.She maintained her independance , She said everyone was very kind. The home was very clean and welcoming. The manager was very kind and professional as were the staff . Its in an ideal situation where there is easy assess to take her out for a walk in a wheelchair to nearby facilities and countryside.

A WORD OF CAUTION ABOUT CAREHOME.CO.UK which follows along the lines of the other mostly negative reviews already given on trustpilot. I do not believe that this company is independent of the care industry and therefore cannot be trusted to give an independent picture to those who might wish to use it. Please, Please, do your own research before using Carehome.co.uk or any other website purporting to be independent. Do check out the local press in your area, Care Quality Commission. even the local social service department before entrusting your decision and ultimately the care of your loved ones to organization such as this.
