I was very impressed as to how quickly I was put in touch with care homes meeting the criteria we discussed. This was particularly helpful as I do not live in the area where a home was needed. I have used this site in the past and find it a very helpful means to contact care homes in a particular area. They do the looking up for me. I have found that Care home reviews on here are very helpful to gauge what a home is like. Any enquiries via this site have been followed up. Before I posted this review on this occasion a person contacted me to check that I was a real person and that I was happy with the ratings I have given. It was not pressuring but it was helpful

POOR! Unfortunately this company proceeds to publish malicious reviews that have no factual content despite being presented with factual evidence to the contrary. Personally I wouldn't subscribe to their services as a business or value the content if I was looking for a care home.

I contacted the carehome agency because I was struggling to find my mother-in-law a home, I explained the criteria to meet her needs, I found them to be extremely helpful, polite, super efficient and couldn’t do enough to help me. I was contact by numerous care homes which met her needs and we was able to place her in a new home less than a week after contacting carehome.co.uk

What a wonderful service. For anyone that doesn’t know what this service offers it’s about Care Homes. I’m a carer for my mother and it’s become more and more difficult as her needs have changed greatly. I am no longer the daughter as all those pleasures have gone as my role has become one of 24 hour care. After lots of soul searching I know it’s time mum went into a care home where she can be looked after by a dedicated team and also gave the company of others her age. I contacted Kerry who has been amazing from the very start of me getting in touch and asking questions. It’s so very hard to find answers to some of your most delicate and emotional questions about your loved ones. And I’m sure there are lots of people out there looking for this help. Kerry did me a short list of care homes in my local area and contacted each of them about mums needs, all have been in touch with information and brochures and everyone has been thoroughly professional all asking the most pertinent questions to ascertain mums needs and if they covered said needs.I can’t thank them all enough

My wife, Jean, was in Chepstow Hospital, recovering from a fracture, and was diagnosed as having Alzheimers disease. She came home, with a plan to rehab. so that she could stay. However, after 10 weeks, all involved in her care decided she needed to be in a care home. The Social Worker involved gave me a list of suitable homes, and based on the CQC report, visiting,researching. and talking I chose Castleford

My mother had been in hospital for a couple of months and then home with emergency carers. We then needed the care to change to long-term daily care. CHS were able to take on this task and sort out appropriate care for my mother. It really helped me and the family to have someone to do this for us. They were friendly and efficient.

Very fast response and really helpful. I was sent a list of homes that could provide care for my father who was not able to be discharged home from hospital. Within 3 days I had secured him a room and he was taken there by hospital transport. At stressful time when I had Covid and my mother had collapsed with stress, it was fantastic to get this quality of help so quickly.

Very good service especially when you begin looking into care homes for a close relative. The process can be quite daunting and difficult to know where to start. Carehome.co.uk sent guidance on entitlements and the process of getting care. They contacted all the homes in the locality who in turn contacted me with information about their service and availability. They certainly take some of the stress out of the process. I would certainly give them a try if you are new to this area.
