Dawn was on the ball and came up with a selection of nursing homes that would be suitable in the South Bucks area for my Dad.Currently, my Dad is still in hospital. So, we haven't managed to sort anything yet.I would like to commend Dawn for her help.

Carehome staff were attentive during my search for a possible care home for my wife saving hours of internet searching on my own. Initially, I was a bit dubious about the organisation which popped up during some initial internet searching, but I found the organisation to be very easy to use and very professional. After reviewing one list, they accepted changed criteria from me and produced a second list. They also provided introductions to those which appeared to be most suitable, and I selected one which would have been ideal. Regrettably, conditions changed and we were unable to take up the place selected. The change was entirely family oriented and not connected to our experience with Carehome or the care home selected.

Kerry was really responsive and helpful. Unfortunately there was no current capacity in any of my preferred areas so I've had to go on some waiting lists. It made a huge difference having someone else make contact with the care homes for me

Listened and thoroughly understood our situation. Came back with a shortlist of homes very quickly. Certainly made the process of finding suitable homes easier. Obviously still need to view yourself, but definitely took out a lot of the legwork on what is a difficult process, both emotionally and in terms of time.

Dawn was lovely and really helpful which was what I needed when dealing with an awful situation of trying to get my dad out of hospital but relying on social workers and brokerage services who don't have his best interests at heart. Dawn was patient and very friendly.

I recently phoned Carehome UK to ask tor help in finding temporary 'respite' accommodation at some distance from where I lived. I was put through to a staff member who dealt with my somewhat untypical enquiry with courtesy and friendliness. She explained what she would try to arrange, and immediately set about making contact with others. A few days later I made contact with this person to explain that due to a change in my circumstances, I was having to reconsider going ahead with my plans. She was very understanding, and said that she would put a hold on making arrangements, and that I could contact her to discuss re-activating them if matters improved. She made me feel that this situation mattered to her as much as it did to me.

Had a very simple but negative review that I did not get included all what I wanted and it still got refused. I wanted to warn others not to let your loved one pass these doors as 20 have died in the last 10 weeks. Of course I did not say that but that is why we need to make negative reviews, to keep others safe...Makes the website an absolute joke. I will not use it and advise others not to. Would you like blood on your hands as the carehomes that have failed our loved ones have because you cannot be an impartial review site? Utter rubbish.

Unless you are leaving a positive review don't bother as it won't get published. I followed all guidelines, got email to say authorised then another to say not authorised. Same happened to my sister.This was in relation to Aspen Hill Village Care Home in Leeds after they evicted our 78 year old mum who had dementia because we visited at her window. The real reason they evicted is because they didn't like us asking questions and raising concerns about our mum's care. Very odd how 2 positive reviews about this care home have been published in December. It absolutely stinks that this care home have had some influence as they try to repair the damage done by the bad publicity over evicting elderly, vulnerable residents. If you are looking for a care home for your loved ones DO NOT rely on reviews from Carehome.co.uk, instead look at their CQC report and possibly also Google reviews.

Care is second to none, staff are wonderfull, all though she complains about the food , from what I have seen and had it is good, and Jean is being her normal complaining self. Everyware is spotless, and finally comunication with myself has been flatless.

Very friendly staff and loads of helpful advice and links to read. Very fortunate as I was able to find a lovely care home in the area where I am looking. I am not in a position just yet to proceed but have been equipped with some good ideas and background and been able to visit 3 care homes I was put in touch with. Took away a lot of the legwork. i wrote another review to this company above and i was informed by the manager that it would be accepted by the lawyer . However i was told today that it will not because it is not within the 12/12 just expired. i have advised the manager today that i will inform people not to use this review simple because this home was reported to have all good reviews. I cannot see one bad review and this is because it cannot get published because it is breaking the law .lol as i mentioned i used this review and believed it to be true and it was not hence the poor care that my mother recieved developing category 3 pressure sores. i spoke the truth to be told it cannot be printed and i have to soften the words . please don,t use this website as it is a worse of time. My mother was an vulnerable adult that was neglected as stated in the social services report. be warned . please do your own investigation. dont rely on these reviews. we have to protect the vulnerable adult in home not cause them harm
