GoogleIve had dealings with Paul and the team for a few years now, previously through lettings, but they sold a house for me this time. it took longer than I thought, although there were a lot of viewings, but they battled on regardless and eventually business was done. as the house was empty, they even relayed information to me that I needed to know about the property that perhaps was outside their normal remit. I like the costing structure too, its plain, straight forward and easy to understand unlike others I have dealt with. well done team and cheersPositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleI would recommend Square Room to anyone wishing to sell their property. I can only praise their knowledge and helpfulness in the sale of my family’s home. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The girls kept me up to date both by email and by phone. And we sold the house in only a short time. Excellent company.

GooglePaul at the Square Room exceeded all expectations in the renting and management of the last property I lived in. The property was very well maintained when moving in, the contract application and termination process was easy and thorough, and communication was always swift and courteous. Any issues the property ever had (normal consumables or appliances you'd find in any rented property) were fixed immediately with as little inconvenience as possible to myself. I am a busy professional who works in a high-pressured, shift-work environment, so not having to worry at all about my home was an absolute dream. An absolute and wonderful exception to the rule in estate agents in my area. I can't recommend The Square Room enough. Thank you Paul!

GoogleExcellent service & outcome. Paul & team are very helpful. We were long distance selling, were kept informed at all stages of the sale. Obviously the right choice of local estate agents, the property was under offer in less than a day!!! Paul was quick off the mark, came to view the property, understood our situation and took over. GoogleWe have sold two properties with Square Room now, both times within a matter of days. Customer service is second to none and we were kept reliably informed throughout the whole process. We were particularly impressed on our recent purchase when issues within the chain arose, to which Square Room couldn't do enough to resolve swiftly. I would highly recommend Paul and the team at the Square Room, unrivalled service at a very competitive price- they are worth every penny!!

GoogleWe used The Square Room after receiving an excellent recommendation from a friend, and we were very impressed with the friendly and professional service. The pricing was realistic and proved to be well pitched as our house sold quickly. So quickly, in fact, that we hadn't found a house to buy! Throughout the process Alex (our main point of contact) and his colleagues were in regular contact to ensure that everything was progressing satisfactorily. All in all, an excellent experience, well done to Paul and his team!

All viewings were communicated to me well in advance and a follow up by ‘phone within 2 days. The liaison with both conveyancers and the buyer was swift and clear. GooglePaul & everyone at the Square Room (mostly Eleanor) couldn’t have been more helpful. No pressure to list our house with them, everything was done quickly and professionally, the photos were excellent! Property was sold in a very short time and the people in the office had excellent communication with us throughout the whole process. Will definitely use The Square Room in the future.

GoogleBought a property that was in probate, 9 months later I had to cancel. The woman who was selling apologised and said the estate agent pushed her into it. This is fair enough. Not really their fault. They took a chance. So I bought a bungalow listed as freehold, before going any further I clarified this with square rooms. Definitely freehold. £500 for a survey and another load on solicitors fees and I find out it’s leasehold, currently being purchased by a random company with no intentions of selling. One day they might actually sell me something correctly that doesn’t cost me thousands and months of my life but I don’t have great hopes for this. Time will tell 🤷♂️ *Update, spoke to square rooms who said they go off what the seller tells them. Spoke to solicitor who said to check the land registry first to confirm. An argument could be made as to why square rooms didn’t do this but being a reasonable person I will accept this as an expensive learning curve. Have bumped the review up to 3 from 1 As the staff are lovely, but that doesn’t counter this massive blunder

GoogleThe first estate agent to provide me with a valuation thought that my expectations were a little too high and suggested that I reduce it by more than 10%, and this was a far more realistic price based upon their knowledge of the market in this particular area of Blackpool. They also warned me of the dangers in overpricing and the sigma of having to reduce a property if unsold. Paul at Square Room provided my second valuation and he thought that my original expectation was fairly accurate, and in fact a little under what he thought he could achieve for the property. Naturally we went with Square Room and the house sold within a few weeks.

I viewed a property recently and was delighted to put in an offer, however, the property had had a full asking price offer withdrawn due to a survey highlighting that there was an issue with an adjoining chimney, the property I had been looking at had to remove the chimney breast, I addressed my concern of having my own mortgage company carry out a survey and which would most likely address the same problems, the vendor hadn't removed the H & S issue highlighted in the 1st survey. To my surprise & dismay, the agent said not to worry that nowadays they only carry out desktop valuation and they probably wouldn't even visit the property, so I should be ok.

GoogleI've just bought a property with the Square Room. Dealt with Lauren throughout. excellent communication and very helpful. The only problem was with the seller. Who despite delaying completion for a week to remove his goods from the property, left the loft full of boxes, old appliance packaging, etc. Buyers beware and arrange to inspect the property the day before completion. Despite this I would have no hesitation dealing with this company again. Excellent service!
