GoogleAs a landlord in the student market, back end of summer 2020 I had four properties unlet. I know conditions were difficult due to the virus, but my instinct told me my then agents were not focused on the job and I was heading for voids. So I took the initiative to meet with Stephen Tarrant and appointed Winkworth. With little time available to them they pulled out the stops and let all four properties. They give sound, well considered and researched advice. They are market savvy, look forward, anticipate developments and do everything they can to support their clients. As a franchised operation they are fully personally invested and committed to the business but benefit from the well researched technical and legal backup provided by Winkworth HQ. The entire team have been prompt, courteous and a pleasure to deal with. Their fees are competitive, cost effective and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

GoogleCurrently buying a house through Winkworth Farnham with the help of Henry and the whole team. All communication has been timely, professional and friendly. I am a buyer newly to this country, so as you can imagine how different the process here is comparing with other countries, but Henry guided me through every step and kept me up to date and reassured of the development of the purchase. GoogleAfter we were let down with the service provided by another local estate agent, we were fortunate enough to find a property that was marketed by Winkworth. I phoned up and started speaking with Charlie who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and after asking to view a place the following day (Saturday) there was no hesitation, it was arranged. We met Henry at our viewing who was very helpful and unlike many other agents in the area, he knew the property and area very well and could answer all of our questions. After being successful with our offer we were kept updated with the progress of the purchase and I’m very pleased to say that with the hard work of both Charlie and Henry we have managed to exchange in 16 days. If you are looking at buying or selling, I would highly recommend Winkworth, Charlie and Henry.

GoogleWe purchased our property via Tarrant and Robertson/Winkworth in 2007. We had a great experience then so when we came to market the property in May 2022 we didn't hesitate but to go back to them. Henry Griffin came round to provide us with a market valuation and was very friendly and gave us great advice as to how to prepare it for viewings. Within a week or so the property was on the market. He set up an open weekend and had various viewings lined up. Charlie Burnell showed the prospective buyers around and on Monday an offer was in which we accepted. We were buying a new build and moving out of the area so we knew there was going to be a delay in completion. Jeannette Ford looked after us from there and I have to say we really couldn't have done it without her. She kept in regular contact with both our buyers and us and we finally got it across the line in November. We are so grateful for all of the support and advice received from Winkworth and we are so glad we went back to them. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Great staff with a very personable approach to their clients. Thank you.

GoogleWinkworth (Henry Griffin) made both the buying and selling process super easy. Very respectful team, gave plenty of notice for viewing, lined up several viewings per day over a few days and we were under offer within 5 days and completed with 10 weeks. They also did their due diligence to ensure all people in the chain were in strong positions to exchange and complete to ensure they chain was as robust as possible. Would highly recommend.

GoogleWe would like to thank the Winkworth team for making the purchase of a house for our daughter such a straightforward and pleasant experience. Stephen and his team made everything seem so easy. From the first viewing to completion they were efficient, professional, and friendly. Our daughter had received some very poor and unprofessional treatment from other agents and it was therefore a huge relief that when we found a property we wanted to buy, it was marketed by a team who were caring, courteous, and considerate. We could not have done this without Stephen’s help, his negotiating skills and his common sense suggestions as to how to cope with repairs and renovations. GoogleYou’ve tried the rest now try the best, never in my opinion can there be a truer statement, especially in the case of Stephen and the team at Winkworth’s Estate Agents of Farnham. Trust me, I know from personal experience of being messed around and misled by several (4) other local estate agents, before finally having the good fortune of finding Winkworth’s. From the very outset Stephen has been very professional and approachable, not to mention open and honest. After visiting the property Stephen produced a very thorough market appraisal guide together with a marketing strategy proposal. These documents very clearly highlighted precisely where, in his expert opinion, the property sat within the local market. By accepting and following Stephen’s advice the property was duly placed on the market, he and his fantastic team set about contacting carefully vetted and matched buyers. Very quickly following early viewings, Stephen secured us a buyer. He then diligently tracked and progressed each and every step of the entire sales process, always keeping me fully updated and appraised. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Stephen and the whole team at Winkworth’s Farnham to anyone looking to sell or purchase a property in the local area. Definitely 5* service.

GoogleWe have found dealing with Winkorths of Farnham very satisfactory during these difficult pandemic times, always willing and polite. Our case seemed to drag on and on, not down to them but a series of issues outside of their control. We were fortunate that the vendor had already gone into care so there was no upward chain and no pressure from the agents. We have now exchanged contracts and will be moving in early January. GoogleI have now had a property rented through Winkworth for just over a year now. In the initial stages, prior to the let, Winkworth guided us through the rental process and helped us to get in tenants who we believe are both reliable and are looking after the property. Since the start of the rental itself, there have been a few issues raised by the tenants, not unsurprisingly, but these have been dealt with in a professional manner, using quality and reasonably priced subcontractors as required. I would be happy to recommend Winkworth as letting agents (and they were also very professional in successfully achieving a sale for us a couple of years ago!).PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
