If you are selling your home in Hook you HAVE to go with Bridges! They sold our flat on first viewing - they are worth every penny! Kevin came out a couple of times to talk us through the process then took fabulous photos of our flat! He was so nice & made the early process a breeze. We were so excited to get our first viewing & even more shocked when they sold our flat full asking price on the first viewing!! Kathy then took us on at Bridges to get us through the sale process & she has been fabulous! Nicest lady & incredibly helpful getting our exchange over the line. It's so nice to feel supported & like you have someone fighting your corner helping you every step of the way. We cannot thank you enough Kathy you are brilliant! Thank you Bridges for everything - we are so happy.

GoogleRecently purchase and sold, after renovating, with Bridges. The purchase was held up, due to the sellers not having the correct probate forms. There was regular contact to keep us updated. The sale of the house went through very quickly thanks to Alfie and Kathy.

GoogleWe approached Bridges estate agents in September 21 to look a property listed on Right Move. We then saw a further 5 properties with Kathy Ellis, she was great. Every time we saw a property we would say what we liked and didn’t like about a property, Kathy would get in touch to show us properties as they came up that had things we had spoken about. We felt Kathy was really listening to us when she showed us round. When we offered on a property and the offer was accepted, Kathy and Alfie Borszcz kept us updated with progress right through to completion. Thank you for all your help 😊

GoogleWe recently sold our family home in Badshot Lea. From start to finish and throughout the whole process, Alfie Borszcz was brilliant. We had been searching for a specific type of property in Cornwall which would accommodate four genertions and when we eventually made an offer on our ideal house, Alfie handled the sale of our home with professionalism, care, consideration and we were extremely grateful for the experience and knowledge he brought to our sale. When the original buyer pulled out, Alfie sought and obtained another purchaser with very little delay, so as not to affect the chain. He kept us up to date by phone, texts and email and we cannot speak highly enough of his efforts to ensure the sale proceeded smoothly and within the confines of a very tight time-scale. We particularly liked his honest, helpful advice and felt he was totally committed to our negotiations. We will certainly be using Bridges, and specifically Alfie, within the next six months as a family member has a property to sell and we are confident Alfie will come up trumps again. GoogleWe had quite the journey moving house. Along the way we lost our first buyer and had to remarket. Bridges, particularly Aaron who was our agent was fantastic. He helped us navigate losing a buyer and around stressful moments where the house we were buying wanted to drop out. The marketing of our house we were selling was fantastic, we had a huge amount of interest even over the Christmas period. Communication was just superb, the team were always there to help. We couldn't have been in safer hands for our sale.

Due to stressful, unexpected ongoing legal delays that were beyond my control, Aaron Milligan and Alfie Borszcz were professional and supportive throughout. They were in regular communication with me as well as the vendor and helped reassure my seller of my commitment throughout an arduous process. We are currently in process of buying a property through Bridges in Fleet. Unfortunately the buyer of my property pulled out this week and I have had to re-market. Luckily I spoke to Amy Buckley at Fleet who was very understanding of our situation and put me at ease. She spent time talking to me and helped me understand the current situation. Having used Bridges previously i wasn't too sure about using them again but Callum has been spot on from the very 1st phone call to the office. Horrendous experience. Do not sign a 20 week contact! Within a couple of weeks, they had lied to me on several occasions and had provided a terrible service. They apologised for the unacceptable level of dishonestly but still refused to release me from the contract that they were in breach of. They knew that their official complaints procedure was longer than my remaining contract (after stalling for several weeks), so they had me trapped with no way out. This was knowing that I was in a rush to move in time for school applications, and missing them would seriously affect our family.

I found Bridges Estate Agents my worst experience ever in dealing with a company, and not to mention how dreadful it was in having James Macphee (Associate Director none the less) manage the sale or in this case what looks to be the fictitious sale of our property. Firstly James tried to convince us that a flat rate fee that they were charging was better than their 0.7% selling fee, although the flat rate fee was several hundreds of pounds more expensive.Secondly James instructed the firms associated conveyancing company to act for us even though we did not instruct him to do so.Thirdly James tried to convince us to spend several hundreds of pounds on professional photos instead of their own and when we refused he did them for free!!!!! We avoided a rip off charge there!Fourthly They never answer their phones and you have to always wait several hours for a call back, a house we were attempting to buy the estate agent attempted to contact James at Bridges in the morning to verify our situation so that they could put an offer to the seller and there was no contact from James or Bridges for over 5 hours so we then had to chase Bridges to insist they speak with the other estate agents to verify our situation.Fifthly James and Bridges when informing us of an offer on our property were in breach of their own contract obligation and broke the Consumer Property Regulations act by NOT informing us that the person who put in an offer on our property did not have a mortgage in place and neither did the people buying their property even though James knew that the buyers of our property were fully aware that the buyers of their property had already had a mortgage refused and therefore failing to tell us that our buyers were not in any position to proceed with buying a house and therefore denying us our right to make an informed decision and what makes it worse is that we found out 2/3 months after our house was sold subject to contract and we turned away another very keen buyer just after accepting this offer of which had we been made aware at the time we would not have accepted the offer. Which is now going to cost us in solicitors fees that we should never have had had we been informed of our buyers situation and especially as we have since found out that our buyers buyers have had a second mortgage application refused, yet it has been a week since we found out this information yet we have had no contact from Bridges to inform us of this!!!!Since giving James Macphee and Bridges the 21 days notice to stop being our agent (although under the Consumer Property Regulations act they should have cancelled the contract straight away seeing as they were in breach of their very own contract and standards of service they promise to deliver), we have made several attempts to contact them both James and Saskia asking questions and any contact that we have made has been completely ignored.I work for an organisation that employs approximately 700,000 staff and I am spreading the word on the unprofessional, dishonest, ignorant, time wasting service we have had from Bridges Estate Agents and James Macphee (ASSociate Director no less) if staff at the top behave in this way then you can be rest assured that this feeds down the line.

GoogleI would highly recommend Alfie from Bridges in farnham without any hesitation. Alfie was very clear and thorough in our initial valuation appointment and was also more than prepared to listen to my views and answer any questions I had. Alfie was able to secure a sale on my property within days of listing using his list of potential buyers and matching them up before we had even put the for sale sign up! There were a few bumps at the beginning of our chain which left me feeling frustrated and even tempted to pull out at times but Alfie kept things on an even keel for us going above and beyond to make sure all went through ok and that I was constantly kept informed.
