I first contacted Dey King & Harrier three years ago when I needed to rent out my property, and right from the start they were just brilliant. So helpful, professional, and genuinely trustworthy. They found me the perfect tenant who stayed for a couple of years, and in all that time I never had a single problem. The team were always there whenever I needed them, nothing was ever too much trouble. When I decided to sell my property, it was an easy choice to go back to them, and once again they were fantastic. I’ve dealt with the whole team including their director, the lettings team, the sales team, and the after-sales team, and every single person has been as good as the last. I’ve never met anyone I’ve been even slightly disappointed with. They’ve helped me so much, and they sold my flat super quickly. I honestly feel so grateful to them as they really went above and beyond. They’re always available, always answer the phone, and always give the best advice. They’re friendly, down-to-earth, and their service is like nothing you’ll find anywhere else. I know estate agents sometimes get a bad reputation, but I would recommend Day, King & Harrier in a heartbeat. You honestly won’t find a better team. I cannot rate Hilton King and Locke highly enough, particularly Jenny Hall (Head of Lettings). From my first contact with Jenny, she has gone above and beyond to find a wonderful home for my wife and I to rent. Unlike many of the other estate agents I had spent weeks trying to contact to arrange viewings, Jenny got back to me almost immediately and booked me into to see two properties at short notice, the first of which we loved and ultimately rented. This was particularly helpful because my wife and I had only a short amount of time to find a property to rent and were returning from having lived overseas for two years. Jenny was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and transparent which was also very reassuring for me as a tenet. Once we moved into the property, Jenny and the entire Hilton Locke and King team have been fantastic in resolving a few teething problems which are an inevitable part of renting any property. Not only did Jenny work tirelessly to coordinate between us and the landlord but she also intervened with several third parties to help get our issue resolved. The issues were dealt with promptly and with great sensitivity and care. More than that, Jenny was incredibly personable with my wife, to the extent that she went as far as to buy my wife flowers, something which was incredibly appreciated as we waited for an issue to be resolved. I really cannot rate Hilton Locke and King highly enough. Having previously had some bad experiences renting, I never thought that I would be writing such a positive review for an estate agent. If you are looking for a property to rent in and around the Langley area as we were, however, Hilton Locke and King come strongly recommended.

I went to view a rental property with DKH and had a very poor experience. We called and messaged an hour before the appointment to let them know we would be five minutes late. When I arrived, my wife was another five minutes behind, and the agent (Beth) kept asking how long she would take and said she couldn’t wait any longer. She was clearly impatient and made us feel unwelcome from the start. During the viewing, she rushed us the entire time and gave us little to no attention or opportunity to properly look around. The whole session lasted barely 20 minutes, including the waiting time. After the viewing, she completely ignored our calls and emails, and the office itself never responded to any of our follow-ups. Very disappointing and unprofessional, horrible customer service, and I would never recommend this agency to anyone.
