Dishonest and Poor Property Manager - Bracknell

I am about to end my tenancy term after almost one year renting an apartment in Bracknell Forest. The premises is nice and the environment is wonderful. When I try to tell the property manager that I would leave the premises earlier and would like to end the tenancy. I am told that I would break the contract if I move out earlier, as per the break term of agreement with the landlord. After my thorough checking of the contract, there is no that term. And the property agent can never spot the term to me. I am just kept informed to bare the liability of the property until the end of tenancy. I am not asking to have money back though I have paid the whole year rental in upfront. More ridiculously, a professional cleaning term is added in the break term, which is totally new term on top of the original contract. Now I get an invoice of GPB850 approx. if I need to move out earlier. It sounds totally unreasonable and not acceptable.

Being with Prospect for two + years was a very professional experience for my wife and I. Good people who smile and say "hello, how are you today?" is a basic level of customer service that should be the status quo, but sadly I find is lacking in most other housing agencies. The point being, yes, they are estate agents but this group remembers that you are a human being as well as a customer. This forms a positive, and professional relationship in an environment where you can do good worthwhile business.

I wish I could give 0 points if I could. The worse estate agency ever been with. I lived in a rented flat for more than 3 years them being the so called property managers. Whenever repairs needed to be done in the flat we lived in it literally took ages for the job to get done (2-3 months minimum whits lots of chasing) . They even left us more than 3 weeks with none of the toilets in the property flushing at all, did not bother to repair anything at all. No wonder we decided to finish the renting contract with them, gave the proper 2month + notice and moved in another property . All they did at the end was TO REFUSE TO GIVE US BACK THE DEPOSIT!!! Completely disgusted with them!! Convenient for landlord as well to upgrade things in the flat with our deposit money. Beware and avoid as you will loose everything with them : both your time and your money. And all you get is stress and headaches all the way.

A hard review to write

A hard review to write. Prospects have levels of tenancy agreements with landlords which means they take no part other than marketing the property. This made them useless when asking for help with a bad landlord. They are to blame for misrepresenting the property, claiming things worked when they did not, and claiming the heating would be 30-40 pcm when it turned out to be closer to £200 pcm. In a proper relationship the agents would make sure the tenant had a fair deal; the agents here gave no real help and became aggressive when challenged. The property itself was poorly maintained. Al in all a most unpleasant experience; would never go back to these people.

Harmonic Stress Free Property Management

As a tenant of Prospect for over 10yrs in 3 properties, and working the past years with Beckie Baxter, my property manager, I have found the process of renting, maintaining, repairing, renewing my tenancy totally seamless and stress -free. The Agency have employed lots of people gor nothing . They dont have chance to sort it problem with profesional manner . They say something and do other thing. They dont follow the law for the renting out the Properties in unsuitable condition. They expect the people take the property after They just pretended was painted and cleaned with the professional and is look like 5 years old child done it. And most of things was broken in the property or not working order , When They rented out and asking the Security deposit 5 weeks plus 6 months rent advance . Shame full company . Dont try to rent with them exactly not before you properly checked state of property.
