GoogleStaff Very Efficient and polite ..... quick respond i didn't have to wait long for viewing or reply when I make an Offer. Everyone is smiling and Friendly i don't really have any negative comment in this stage of buying. Avril B was well prepared. She answers all questions what i had (It was leasehold flat so it was quite few info what I Need!!) So Far So Good hopefully process of buying will be as nice and easy!

FacebookThe lettings team looked after the landlord and the tenants extremely well. Professionally led by Amanda. Sarah, who did the checkout review did a thorough job. Invoices issued by finance on time. Repairs dealt with promptly. It meant we had confidence on their service

FacebookAbsolute shambles of a company. Been waiting 6 months for them to send a plumber to fix a leaking toilet which is a simple fix. Have now resorted to withholding my rent payment until it’s rectified. This is the second time in 10 months I have had to resort to these measures to force them into action. Just as last time, as soon as the rent is withheld they come at you with threats. I would seriously advise anyone taking a property from them to do their homework on the company before making a decision. I have rented properties for the last 20 years and have never experienced any issues until dealing with Richard James!

FacebookHad house on Market in North Swindon & during the process there was bad communication throughout & then after having 3 offers collapse on my property the attitude of a certain person was disgusting & very un professional! Also had people on 3 occasions turn up at my property for viewings without any support from agent. Had to stay through the contract & then changed agent who sold my property straight away & much easier to deal with. The personnel in the North Swindon branch were very disappointing along with the poor attitude! Not something I thought of Richard James having used them twice before without issue! Wont be returning any future business to them!

FacebookWe had an Inspection from Sarah Taylor, a lettings negotiator. She was very friendly and also accommodating to our needs in regards to our apartment. She was able to answer all our questions and was in no rush to inspect and hurry out the door. She was also used PPE and kept at a distance to ensure COVID-19 guidelines were adhered to. In general, all the Richard James staff are a great team and would always recommend them.

GoogleReally friendly and helpful staff. We just finished buying our first home through them, which included them throwing in prosecco and chocolates to celebrate with us. Hugh, Louise and Jo handled the purchasing of our house. Fantastic customer services, always at the end of the phone when we needed them. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to buy their first house, even recommended a decent solicitor to us as well. Thanks to everyone at the Faringdon Office.

Richard was very helpful and professional throughout, offering us advice and support throughout the whole process. Also would like to recommend Richard Reiguera from South West Mortgages who helped us with our mortgage, again Richard was very professional and extremely helpful, making the whole process easy and was always there if we had any questions. Being innocent in the whole experience of selling my flat, as I have not sold any property ever before and didn’t have a clue what to do or what the next step would be. FacebookWe recently completed on a sale and purchase with a difficult vendor. Whilst Richard James offer their 'after sales team' services (which in some instances proved helpful), I would like to forewarn people that if the wrong information is provided- which in our case has a correction cost of approximately £300- Richard James appear to not be bothered about helping to rectify the situation. I think, as the large company that you are, it's such a shame that you are not concerned enough to as much as offer a gesture of understanding and a contribution towards the cost to rectify the problem; which was caused as a result of the incorrect information being passed onto us. Surely, as a matter of course, Richard James need to ensure that the information they are passing onto clients is correct? In this instance, I had been asking for the information for a number of weeks and even requested another property viewing to see for myself but unfortunately that was denied. I am now left with a bill for £300 through no fault of my own and unfortunately, Richard James seem to have washed their hands of the issue. I guess they have nothing left to gain as all of the sales have now completed! I certainly will not be using your services in the future, nor will I recommend your services to others. In my opinion, a service provided by a company who cannot accept responsibility, apologise and make an effort to 'right' their wrongs is one not worth paying for.

FacebookWe sold a small, relatively cheap flat (and so a small commission was earned!) but throughout the process we were treated as well as if we were selling a mansion. The staff are professional and compassionate and really went the extra mile to make the process a success. Everyone we dealt with was excellent and particular mention should go to Jade Skittrall who was an absolute star even when it wasn't her problem to deal with. We couldn't recommend more highly. If you're selling a property, choose Richard James.
