Ive been dealing with Beals for over a year now, they look after my portfolio and the service is the best I've ever received from an agent. The stand out individual for me is Mollie-Mae who is responsive, gets things right first time, takes responsibility & accountability for things, uses pragmatism & initiative to get resolutions and looks after my interests which I really value. Clare has also been excellent with rent reconciliations, I'd highly recommend.

Adriana and her team managed to achieve the best price for me to let my flat. Being a first time hand at this I was unsure what to do and every stage was explained to a high level of detail. It left me feeling confident that if something was to go wrong it would be resolved by Beals with little impact to myself. Would highly recommend.

I do not know from where to start. If only I could give this agency 0 stars..If you will see ‘’this person does not rent from us’’ this mean that agency has put it on but I do rent from agency.We moved here In June 2020 during the first lockdown and it already started with lies - walls are freshly painted, property is clean and ready to move as it was video tours at the time because of the pandemic.On the day of getting our keys we have sign our contract and it was too late.I have started to clean the property and after 6 hours spendng in the bathroom my hands went down and I lost hope for cleaning, because mould was everywhere!! Everything I’ve touched was falling down! And then we called agency..We tought they will fix everything so we we caried on with making feel this flat like home because to find another property during the lockdown was nearly impossible.We have cleaned the mould from the windows and re-painted them. We have re-painted the walls which meant to be freshly painted before we moved as the agent told us.After a loooong 4 months spent in the flat they’ve send someone in to check on mould and fixed just a little part of it while we were away(Came back after a week and found toilet full of workers dump and not flushed! They ‘fixed’ mould just back of the cupboards but left all shelfs mouldy so we still could not use it and after 7 months of living in the property and paying full rent we kept all our kitchenware in the boxes!Wardrobe in the bedroom same as kitchen stinked so badly that we could not use it to keep our clothing in there and from the second bedroom had to make a closet.I could say more and more but I won’t beacause this agency is not worth more words from me!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS AGENCY!!

When there was a delay in our conveyance, Ben was the only professional who was able to find out the cause down the chain(a mislaid letter between a buyer and lawyer) and to move the process on again. We hope to complete on the 18th of this month and have been very glad of his input.

The staff have always been responsive, courteous and prompt with their help and have never failed to find a suitable tenant even when timescales were tight. When any problems have cropped up, they’ve acted quickly and professionally to resolve the issue in our absence and have communicated efficiently and effectively.

It has been a difficult time of the year for letting properties but I found Beals to be very proactive and in particular Lucy who showed prospective tenants around and then closed the deal and ensured that the tenants and myself were kept advised of progress and legal requirements. I was particularly impressed with the tenacity to have the property let before the New Year. Well done!

We listed our property with Beals at the end of the first lock down. We have had nothing but trouble with them since day 1.Firstly, the description of our property was not correct and mentioned places nowhere near our house. We asked for this to be changed which was ignored many times.Our property was removed from rightmove for 2 days in the first 2 weeks due to a dispute between Beals and Rightmove over payment. This was treated as a minor issue by Beals and we were made to feel like we were making a big issue about something small. We paid extra for sales progression done by the manager Alan. This was a waste of time, he was always at least a week behind on the current position of the sale so was telling us old news every week. Further from this they are almost impossible to get hold of. The phone is answered by a junior staff member and the people you need to speak to are 'out of the office'. They promise a call back which never happens. Even when our sale was in danger of falling through they didn't want to help. When I finally did speak with someone the excuse was they had emailed my partner the previous week so didn't feel they needed to speak to me. The solicitors they work with and railroad you into using are the worst company I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I won't go into the details because this review is for Beals but unless you are fine not being able to ever speak to your own solicitor then do not use DC Law. My 7 year old son could have done a better job. Finally to sum up the service we received we could not get through to anyone to dicuss leaving keys for the new owner of our property. They ended up calling us as we were moving stuff into our new house asking for a key..... A bit late. Luckily we reminded them they already had one from the viewings. On a positive note once Jade took over our viewings the property got a lot more interest. Probably because she actually could be bothered to try and sell it. Well done Jade. They should put you in charge of this company. Avoid the stress and find someone else.

So Our previous landlady knows “mr Beale” personally and are friends according to Beales so think you can try and make up a £2800 bill when the house we handed back was spotless. professionally cleaned, and painted top to bottom! Your incompetent disgusting and unprofessional staff in bitterne never gave us an inventory when we moved in and in 4 years of reporting the roof leaking you did NOTHING. a we were forced to move due to a section 21 apparently but the property still isn’t up for sale 3 weeks later? Our landlord/beales did nothing about the roof in 4 years and we have a disabled son who’s health deteriorated every year as the water would leak inside the windows and we reported this every 3 months to Beales and they did nothing!! After 4 the landlady finally decide to do something about it while my partner was in hospital and because we couldn’t be there due to being in hospital beales threatened us and said the landlord won’t renew our tenancy because we were (in their words) being difficult?? we then received the section 21 which is funny as you’d already threatened to make us homeless, I’m a decorated combat veteran and suffer with PTSD, and the damage this has done to my mental health you will pay for, you’ll be owing us money trust me not the £2800 your trying to bill us with. we have started a report with Trading standards, the ombudsman, citizens advice and I have spoken to the British Army welfare team who have arranged legal support, the bitterne branch and therefore Beales are vile and should be avoided at all costs for negligence, incompetence! Beales threats, and underhand tactics won’t go unnoticed as I’ll make sure your investigated by every agency that will listen to make a case against you!The house was professionallyCleanedPaintedAnd oven was professionally cleaned and your lying agent said it needed cleaning?? 😂That’s pathetic!Beales are terrible and I look forward to fighting you in court 👍🏻

Absolutely superb service. I've just bought 2 rental properties through Beals, Gosport and the service couldn't have been bettered They've been with me all way through the tortuous 10 month conveyancing process (solicitor's fault) and I wouldn't have stayed the course without them. Special mentions due to the Manager, Adam and to Jade and Katie. A fantastic team and every one of them a credit to Beals and Adam in particular. Very highly recommended. Thank you all.
