It is not often that I write a negative review, but I was very disappointed by Miller Countrywide. I found the people working there very unprofessional. They promised one thing, they did the opposite. I just cannot trust them, especially James Harvey. As a landlord, I would stay away from them.

5 stars to Miller, especially Piran on the letting side of things. He was extremely helpful and fast when it came to me and my partner looking for a place to rent. Forget who they’re working for

The Truro office managed the sale of my parents’ house. I would describe them as energetic but dealing with them was very frustrating. Main criticisms: 1. Persuading us we could get a higher price than other agents were saying. An outlier is usually just that, we didn’t know better. 2. Losing sight of who they were working for. It felt they were acting for the buyer at almost every part of the process. 3. Interfering with the work of my solicitor. It was very unhelpful to find them acting as a back channel when my solicitor was dealing with the buyers’ lawyer. 4. Negotiating on behalf of the buyers, trying to persuade us to meet extra, unnecessary costs and go the extra mile to complete the sale. Overall I really could not recommend Miller Countryside.

We purchased our new home in Cornwall (relocating) with the help of Miller Countrywide in Falmouth. Specifically, we were helped by Ketan Cooper who was fantastic: friendly, supportive, responsive and quick to find out answers to our questions. Ketan brokered our initial viewing despite the sellers not being keen (we hadn't yet sold our house) - without his help, we wouldn't have seen the house we eventually bought! He followed up with our solicitors and agents through the buying and selling process to keep things running smoothly. He even waited after hours for us to arrive (from Essex!) to pick up the keys to our new home. We highly recommend Ketan and Miller Countrywide for a great house buying experience. Thanks Ketan!

Living up to the *** in Miller***rywide!

Previously rented through MCW and thank God we no longer have to deal with them. I know renters don't really get a say in which letting company to go with but if at all possible, I'd steer well clear. The list of sleazy practices and unwillingness to deal with basic repairs is honestly too long to list. Let's just say that the term property "management" is a bit of a stretch... If you're considering letting out your property through them, just be aware that they were happy to leave us to sort out a kerosene flooded property for several months until we were finally able to end our contract (and breathe in some none-polluted air, without the windows open 24/7). To be fair to them, they did send out a wooden flooring expert after months of calls and emails... who was able to confirm that the floors were constructed of concrete. If this is the kind of competence you're looking for when it comes to managing your investment, good luck to you :D

We recently purchased a house in Falmouth through Miller Countrywide and both Danielle and Gary were absolutely amazing. It was a complicated purchase as well as covid delays our vendor unfortunately died during the process and we then had to cope with the delays of probate. We were kept well informed at all times via phone or email and any messages left were always attended and replied to on the same day. Both were tireless in their efforts and nothing was too much trouble, so easy to communicate with too, (they either answer their phones or ring straight back!), so you know you can always get hold of them. Johanna Wiethof has been exemplary in sorting out getting tenants for our property. From meeting her to our tenants moving in has been 2 weeks. She organised the photos, advertising, appointments for viewings and drew up the tenancy agreements as well as going the extra mile and arranging for the necessary gas & electric certificates and inventory. Johanna has provided more than a tenant finder, she has provided a concierge service with individual attention to detail. A very helpful group working here, Johanna especially, was very welcoming during the viewing of the property we recently started renting! She also is excellent with regards to communication, very helpful and she gives you the feeling that nothing is too much bother. Johanna has helped make this move into the area from around 200 miles away, very easy for us. Another staff member also did me a huge favour and reserved this property for me, I only asked for a few hours grace as I was waiting on an answer following a job interview, but he gave me until midday which was very kind of him! Luckily, I only needed a couple of hours, and everything slotted perfectly into place, all because of Miller's Countrywide! I now have a job in the area, and a house to rent which is less than three quarters of a mile from my new place of work! Emma McLuckie at MillerCW was an absolute stand out. She not only managed to squeeze us into viewings for all the property we wanted to see, she also recommended some others. She was fun, honest, knowledgeable and friendly; Emma helped us find our dream home and negotiated on our behalf to get our offer accepted! If only I could give zero stars - we have had nothing but issues with the lettings team. We moved out of our rental property over a month ago and have still not had our deposit back despite multiple emails, calls and going into branch. When we got the keys to the property, the house had not been cleaned and there was a leak from the shower into the living room below. I asked for the house to be cleaned and the leak to be fixed in the 3 weeks before we properly moved in. When we came to move in 3 weeks later, we could not get in the house because the locks had been changed without telling us? The property still hadn't been cleaned and the leak was not fixed. It took a long time for the leak to be fixed and meant we could not use the shower for about 3 weeks! Landlords and tenants should stay away from this letting agent, nothing but ongoing issues.
