(Quick note for landlords, ours had a very poor experience with Martin & Co and communicated to us several times that they were fed up and considering moving to a rival company.)BEWARE: A reasonable and professional company until the moment your tenancy ends. They will then come after your deposit with cleaning charges at 250% of market price for end of tenancy cleaning for even the most minor things. In our case they also tried to charge us £47.50 to replace a toilet seat that didn't fully "stand up on its own". Communication during this process was abysmal and muddled, which I can only guess is a tactic to confuse tenants who are unfamiliar with the process of contesting deposits.I can see from the other reviews here that this is a pattern of behaviour. Martin & Co clearly has no shame trying to fleece its loyal tenants (4+ years) of their deposits the moment they are no longer an income stream from rent. Exploitative and callous behaviour in a cost of living crisis, don't trust them with your money.

I was purchasing my first flat through Martin and Co in Falmouth. As you can imagine I had several questions and Tom was great when it came to responding to my emails. I was able to view the flat several times before moving in and was provided with all the information I needed. I would definitely recommend the team at Martin and Co :-)

GoogleCan't fault them. Prompt reply with emails or phone calls. Clear with anything and get things sorted quick, highly recommend. Other estate agents always say 'we will get back to you' then a week later nothing, so have to chase them, but always get an answer quick.

GoogleHelpful and excellent service. Myself and my partner were kept up-to-date throughout, and the process itself was fast. We met Liam Jefferies at the property who was extremely helpful and answered any questions we had. He also kept us in the loop when waiting to hear back which we really liked. During the process, we were in contact with Ruby Stuart who provided all of the information for referencing, this was helpful as we were both relatively new to the process. Really pleased with the service and excited to move in

GoogleHad a great experience with Martin & Co after first being a bit apprehensive following dealings with other agencies. Sarah was extremely helpful, replied to all queries promptly, and made what was in all honestly quite a long, time consuming process for applying/renting much easier. Everything went smoothly and Sarah supervised each step of the process. Would use Martin & Co for renting assistance again!
