My son rented a property from Clyde properties, Hamilton. Over the last 5 months he's had constant issues with the flat, Clyde has been appalling. Slow to get things fixed, not caring about his living conditions and refusing to answer his queries. Appalling company.

Consistently unprofessional

Consistently unprofessional, Clyde property professionals do not respond in a timely manor to most if not all requests nor follow up queries when asked. Clyde property professionals in other words could be described as the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing, distracted and uncoordinated.Clyde property professionals do not do any of the imaginary claims stated on their website such as “Taking care of your investment, while you look after the important things” the important thing for a Clyde property customer is to do their job for them or it simply won’t get done.Clyde property also don’t inform landlords or anyone else for that matter, even other Clyde property professionals, of what is going on with there customers properties, landlords and tenants are left chasing things up themselves, the 10% management fee is really for keeping irresponsible, incompetent employees in a job, Clyde property professionals.Obviously would not recommend Clyde property or Clyde property professionals to anyone with a property, stay well clear if you value your investment or are looking for tenants, it’s not worth it to be honest.

Absolutely first class job done by Clyde Property Bothwell in selling my house in a mere 5 days. I got far more than I ever expected and that was in the main down to Clyde Property’s excellent marketing. The photography and video in particular was exceptional and was commented about positively by many viewers, friends and family. The extra value I received more than covered the very competitive price I paid them. I dealt directly with Jack Johnstone who was very helpful and friendly and clearly knows his stuff. Most importantly he was there to assist on every occasion I called with some minor query which was subsequently dealt with almost immediately. Jack obviously gets the importance of selling your home to each individual and conducts his business accordingly. What more do you want other than great personal service from staff who clearly care, excellent value for money and superb marketing leading to a quick, easy, profitable sale. I cannot praise Clyde Property Bothwell enough and would highly recommend them.

Keep well away take over a month to…

Update::::Challenged them still had to pay for cleaning even though had video of flat on last day, but got money back they kept for a broken door that was there when I took flat. Challenge them at end of tenancy as vile company to deal with or even better look elsewhere!!!Keep well away take over a month to return your deposit and try to take money for damage that was there before you take over also make up a figure for cleaning flat. Apparently I had dusty light shades and a dirty drawer on washing machine and this cost £179 to get cleaned. Now going to have to go through lawyers or god knows what to get money back

Fantastic service

Too intrusive inspections and unprofessional inspector. Best avoided.

I rented a flat from Clyde Property for over 10 years and in that time, had intrusive flat inspections every 8 weeks which involved them looking into fridges, ovens, etc and taking photos of everything, even including inside radiators. These inspections were only meant to last 10 minutes however some were around 20 minutes. Ridiculously over the top and was nothing short of harrassment. We had one incident where we received a housekeeping letter. At a later inspection, the flat inspector irrelevantly told a workman something which i'm pretty certain was a breach of confidentiality and gdpr. I reported it to Clyde who went into hiding and did everything they could to avoid replying. They had to be chased up numerous times before I eventually got a reply gaslighting me and trying to normalise what happened. The only plus was, the staff in the office were usually very nice and helpful, and repairs were dealt with efficiently. However, that aside, where avoidable, I'd not rent from Clyde again, mainly because of their ridiculous inspections.
