Always a cleaning deduction

Typical letting agency that will use 'Cleaning' as a way to subtract from your deposit. And will not reply when you ask for an itemised receipt of what needs cleaned, as you have had it professionally cleaned and found it in the same state as you moved in

Absolutely shocking company

Absolutely shocking company. Rachel and Lorraine should be ashamed of themselves. My daughter rented a flat from this company for a few months last year and paid £420 deposit. When viewing the property we noticed that there was a couple of small dampness patches which were painted over but my daughter needed somewhere to stay for a few months. The kitchen had washing machine, fridge freezer, cooker and microwave so it was fine for what she needed for her and her daughter. She moved out at the end of January this year and handed her keys back to them. She emailed them asking for her deposit back and was told that this could be problem as the microwave was missing and that there was mould on the walls in the bedroom which was already there when she moved in and as most people know it takes a while for mould to come through a freshly painted wall. Unbeknown to Rachel and Lorraine I took photos of the property when we left and the microwave was there and the dampness had started to come through the paint My daughter has been trying to contact them for a couple of days without any luck yet. There was no curtains or blinds on the windows when she moved in so when she moved out she left the blinds and the curtain poles up for the next tenant as a thank you to the to the landlord as they were willing to negotiate a price for the rent of the property. If this company doesn't come good with my daughters deposit I will take this matter to court and the Police as this is blatant fraud.

From the beginning of the sales process until the property was under offer, the team at Clyde, Falkirk could not have been more professional and helpful. Feedback was always prompt and the sales team efficient and constructive. Unnecessary vacancy periods…

Unnecessary vacancy periods between tenancies. In my experience, lettings management seems to a have a preference for waiting until the existing tenant has moved out, before re-advertising is started. On 2 occasions I've had more than one month vacancy period between tenants, with no maintenance work needed on the property. There also seems to be a preference for recommending slightly lower than market rate.

Having the tricky problem with living in England and used to a different system of selling a property, selling a house in Falkirk was immediately solved when Clyde Property became involved. Clark Gillespie guided us through the initial hurdles, and then Anne Clelland and her team took the whole problem out of our hands. Always updating us on viewings and feedback, always there to assist. A sale was agreed within a few weeks - we could not have asked for more. Anne was so attentive to any queries and an enormous help when our buyer’s solicitor stopped communicating with our solicitor for a period of time. Words cannot describe how fantastic Clyde Property were when I was selling my flat. My initial phone call with Clark Gillespie confirmed I had made the correct decision selecting Clyde as my Estate agent, his knowledge of the local area was insanely good and my home report valuation was EXACTLY in the middle of the range the Clark suggested my property could be worth, and he hadn't even seen the property at this point! Anne and her team are phenomenal, their attention to detail, communication and general attitude were first class. They kept me up to date with all viewing, offers, feedback and even when things were quiet, i always got either a courtesy phone call or email which was very my appreciated since i was living over 100 miles away.
