I moved to the UK recently and got a very good flat through the Winkworth agents.Ms.Isabelle was my first contact and being new to the UK , I had a lot of doubts regarding the process. What has pleased me about Winkworths is the immediate feeling you get that they want to do their best. Not just find you tenants, but find ones that will be good, can comfortably pay the outgoings and even when their incomes are adequate, both Isabelle and Mica are blessed with intuition and judgement about who might let you down and needed to pay a higher than usual deposit. I have never felt miffed about any charges they have made. Settling on what rents to ask is always a very swift discussion and the tenants they have found over the last 10 years or so have always seemed happy the way they have been treated and indeed cared for when discussing dates and moving problems.

I have had the most wonderful experience dealing with Winkworth, particularly Isabelle. I have been dealing with Winkworth’s Exeter for five years now, I bought an investment property through them and I rent it out on a full management service with them. A stress free no hassle arrangement that is quick professional and reasonably priced. It lets me get on with my life without even thinking about it as I know it’s in good hands. They have a good relationship with the tenant and any maintenance or correspondence is sorted out quickly and professionally. The only time I remember I have a flat in Exeter is when I see the rent every month!!

We travelled a long way to see properties and Rea booked in for us to see five properties over two days and gave us lots of extra information about the areas. I recently rented an apartment through Jasmine at Winkworth. I requested to move in earlier than the original proposed date, and they professionally arranged for me to rent the property 3 days sooner. This saved me from having to move my belongings into temporary storage and then move them again, a huge stress relief. Winkworth have been absolutely amazing helping us find our perfect flat and support us during the move in and living process! In particular, Sammi has been an absolute star and has helped us with anything we need, even if it is answering our more silly questions! They make us feel welcomed and comfortable if we ever visit their office, and can always have a good chat (flat related or not!). Highly recommend using Winkworth when finding your perfect home.
