GoogleThis is a bit of strange review as I didn’t end up buying any property from them. However, I still want to say that their staff were very kind and truly helpful. I felt like they were not just trying to make the seller’s interest but also mine. If I were a perspective buyer again, they would be my first choice to look for properties.

GoogleHi I am Modhi and I am from Kuwait, and I found the Winkworth Estate Agents in the Rightmove app and also my friend recommended them to me who is currently renting with them. I was impressed with the high quality property I found they posted. Once I contacted Ms. Emily Trump in the letting depart. she was very helpful , professional and supportive. Although I am overseas the communication was easy and she was reachable on both calls and emails. Ms. Trump was nice, patient and dedicated. When my friend in Exeter went to view the property with Ms. Trump was punctual and answered all the required questions. I highly recommend to deal with Ms. Emily Trump and with Winkworth company. Thank you :)

GoogleAppointment was cancelled because agent had already taken a deposit for the flat. Not even one chance to view the flat. If I had been told that the flat is first come first served and all applications are viewed on a rolling basis then I should have been advised to book an earlier viewing slot. This is really unfair and I have not come across other agencies that do this. Disgusting.

GoogleWinkworth's Exeter has been a very helpful letting agent. I am a student, and my three housemates and I were looking for a house for next year. We were a bit late to start the process but they still had very good options available for us at decent prices. Our letting agent was Isabelle, and she was very helpul at every step of the way, being sure to clarify what we needed to do to secure the house. She was also very patient with all of our questions and inexperience, as we are first-time renters, which was very helpful. The only advice I would give to those using Winkworth's is don't underestimate the time it will take to secure the tenancy, as there are several online forms to complete. Isabelle made us aware of this in plenty of time, but we underestimated how long it would take, which added to our stress in doing everything within a deadline. This is not a complaint with the company, more advice to other renters. Overall, good experience, would reccomend.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleI cannot thank Emily and Terry enough for their support throughout the house buying process, they kept us well informed at all times. Emily was helpful and professional throughout and went above and beyond to support me when my solicitors were unresponsive, I am not sure that I would have been able to successfully purchase the property without her. GoogleWhat a refreshing experience! I originally had 5 estate agents around to get a better understanding of the value my property could achieve, with each one trying to sell their services. I knew from the moment I met Chris that his genuine nature and knowledge of the industry spoke volumes without giving the flyboy pitch that so many try. At Winkworth each member of the team are introduced to the vendor at different occasions which means anytime you have a question everyone is able to answer. Even with the difficult times we have faced with covid 19, Chris and Terry kept me updated throughout working with the buyers and trying to push their solicitors along. I would happily recommend and look forward to them selling my next project. Kind regards James

She went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that any issues were addressed quickly and effectively and she worked really hard to minimise the stress we faced through to completion. Emily was always at the end of the phone if we had any questions and she took charge of chasing our agents and solicitors - without her help our purchase could have easily fallen through. GoogleHow all estate agents should be! Emily was so so lovely to deal with from start to finish. She really goes the extra mile to not only show you houses you could buy, but helps throughout the moving process as a critical point of communication. Every other house we were shown around was by unknowledgeable estate agents from other companies and people who often it felt didn't want to be there. Emily knew everything about the property and current owner and felt truly invested in our journey which is such a massive decision. GoogleWhen I looked to sell my property I chose Winkworth for their high customer Google reviews and competitive pricing compared to other estate agents in Exeter. When my property was valued I found their customer service to a high standard, not too pushy, warm and felt like they were the best company to sell my property. Emily was my main point of contact and saw my sale through. She was very professional, kept me regularly updated with my chains process and got the answers I required. Emily's "can do" attitude installed me with confidence and although it was a long journey purely down to my chain, we got there in the end working together to get things done. GoogleEmily and Winkworth have really set the benchmark for how the journey should be. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Emily looked after us from the start, right through to completion and beyond. She is an absolute credit to Winkworth, constantly going above and beyond to make the process as smooth and seamless as possible. Emily was always available and nothing was too much trouble. She sorted everything so quickly and with complete professionalism. I can confidently say that had it not been for her friendliness, efficiency and expertise, the sale wouldn't have progressed. Google5 stars: Excellent 22 Dec 2020 Great for selling a house and keeping me informed We have just exchanged on a house that was shown by Winkworths. I can't praise them highly enough, particularly Terry as we didn't have an agent who sold our house so had to continually contact Winkworths instead. They always returned my calls and always kept us up to date with everything throughout. I would very happily sell my house through them next time we sell. Thank you for all your help!

GoogleMica and the team at Winkworths Exeter have been incredible with their professional service and kind, considerate care that they have shown us since we started to rent through them. Mica has responded instantly to any problems that we have had with the house (recent water leak was sorted very quickly and efficiently), and also gone out of her way to make us feel like valued customers, making sure that we are happy and comfortable in our new home. I would highly recommend renting through Winkworths as they really do apply a more caring, personal touch when dealing with their clients.
