Hubble and I recently viewed a property on the market with Wilkinson Grant &Co. Gemma Neale showed us around the property in a no rush, easy manner. She was very welcoming on our arrival, answered any questions we had and was most easy going but professional. A ‘stuffy and officious’ manner turns me away instantly, Gemma was neither, she gave us the time to view at our pace and to return to rooms we wished to view a second time. She followed up with an ‘in the loop’ email which kept us abreast of the situation with the property. I would not hesitate to recommend Gemma and Wilkinson Grant if you want professional but friendly service.

We sold our home and had a fantastic service from Wilkinson Grant. The whole chain was protracted and stressful but we always felt in good hands. Every other agent undervalued our property, perhaps it was a niche proposition but Gemma Neale knows her stuff! Gemma was amazing start to finish, I’m sure we would have lost our buyer without her, and Kate King was attentive to us and our buyer throughout the hurdles. Always on hand to chase idle conveyancers or respond to dopey questions. The other agents in the chain provided what I suppose was adequate service (at best), which really put into context how much effort Wilkinson Grant put in. I highly recommend using this firm. They charge more than other estate agents but are no better. We didn't get the service we were sold. They say that they have someone who's full time job is to constantly ring the other solicitors / agents in the chain to make sure nothing falls apart. What they don't say though is that she works part time. She sat on our sale for weeks before doing anything. There was little communication from her unless we got in touch first. She even failed to notify us that the initial date for exchange wasn't going to happen. On the actual day of exchange, she couldn't even do that before us telling her to do it. I'm still surprised to this day that we completed on the agreed day. The only thing she managed to do without us telling her was to get their bill into the solicitor for their part of the money. A really disappointing experience.

I emailed before moving overseas from the US to see if there were any properties that suited my needs. Hannah helped find a property the worked perfectly and Holly assisted with getting the details sorted so that all I had to do was arrive at the property and take the keys. Buying a house was always going to be stressful but Gemma Neale has made it so much easier. She was warm and friendly from our first viewing. Not overbearing or pushy and made us feel at ease. Once our offer had been accepted Gemma’s communication was amazing. She was very responsive to messages, answered queries and helped move the process along. Even after we moved in she was still there for some after sales support between us and the sellers. We are not planning to move again for a long while, but if we were going to, I’d want to use Gemma to handle it for us. Thank you, we couldn’t recommend enough.

We initially decided to sell our home in Devon in the autumn of 2020, to allow us to move closer to both our children and grandchildren in the Midlands. We had three property agents value the property, one of which was Gemma Neale, all valuations fell within our reasonable expectations. What stood out about the Wilkinson Grant valuation however was the professional approach from the point of initial contact, through to completion. From our first meeting it was clear Gemma took a personal interest in not only our home but the way we would wish to be involved throughout the process , listening to our questions and providing us with answers that were both reasoned and practical. We became comfortable in the knowledge that in terms of perspective viewings, there had been considerable investment in Gemma’s time in so much that the property matched the clients requirements and expectations. Excellent service when selling our house in Dawlish. The agent even found us an off-market property for our onward purchase which is now our home and we couldn't be happier. We essentially had WG act as our buyers' agent as well as assist with our sale which made all the difference. Prior to this we'd been 8 months in a transaction (with another agent) which ultimately fell through. We then switched agents to WG, found a new buyer and things ran smoothly from there.
