I highly recommend Rosemary Alderson at the Stockton branch. She has helped me a couple of times over family matters. She explains things clearly and is very knowledgeable. Rosemary’s communication and efficiency are exceptional. She keeps you up to date with everything you need to know and chases things up when necessary. Bills can be quite costly but Rosemary will keep you up to date with charges and what to expect in terms of the costs. Thanks again

Thoroughly recommended

Ian Peach and Samantha Kidd from Knights carried out the conveyancing for a unusually complicated purchase of 2 separate parts of what was originally a single dwelling and the sale of our main home and then shortly after, the sale of a second property. We purposely spent a little extra to use Ian again after the original purchase of the second property in 2020. I would thoroughly recommend Ian, rather than what on face value seems like a cheaper option. Many of the other companies offering conveyancing services seem unable to keep a dedicated person managing the process, dragging out the process and making it more stressful than it already should be. Ian Peach will be my first choice for future legal services.

I had a very tight 6 week schedule to complete the purchase of the family and buy out my siblings shares. I first went to a different firm of solicitors. I soon discovered that solicitor was incredibly rude, wouldn't give a timescale and was dismissive. I contacted Knights and straight away someone from the firm contacted me. Solicitor Emma Millington took complete ownership of my case and provided a gold standard service. She worked closely with my family solicitors ensuring exchange if contracts and completion happened with 2 weeks to spare. Emma was professional throughout, guiding me and keeping me up to date on the progress. She always took my calls amd always responded to my emails. Brilliant patience and client care

Joanne Robinson helped us with our house sale and purchase and it was not an easy task with delays from our buyers and on from the developer we were buying our new home from. She was always happy to help and didn't have any issues with how proactive, and probably annoying, I was. Her attention to detail ensured that every I was dotted and T crossed. Incredible service - would recommend to anyone!

We've used several solicitors in the past, but Knights have by far surpassed them all. We had the wonderful Rachael and Dagmara on our property purchase, and they really went above and beyond. Rachael was able to pick things up in the survey and planning permissions that were very small details, particularly with the complications of a listed building! Both were incredibly timely in their responses, but most of all understood us as clients. This meant our timings were really respected and we felt fully listened to.

Good service, support and communication

I had a positive experience working with Knights. Thank you to Shona and the rest of the team for the helpful support throughout my process of purchasing a new build house. Communication was always clear and easy to understand. My only minor recommendation would be to more proactively provide customers with progress updates; I had to politely ask for updates on several occasions when we were close to exchange date.
