Professional and helpful

I found using Knights very helpful in the not very straightforward sale of my mother's house. There was more work to do than originally anticipated, but David Alp was very helpful and dealt with all the details in a very professional way. I found him approachable and pleasant to deal with on the phone. The final fee was somewhat more than first quoted, but that was due to the extra issues discovered.

They came recommended to re a prenup. My wife's solicitor drew up the document and did all the leg work. I got advice that felt like it was a divorce settlement, not a prenup. They won't give a ballpark figure for work, although this was straightforward stuff and my bill came out £1500 dearer than my wife's ! It's a PLC so I suppose that's all you need to know. A solicitor is something you should be able to trust and feel confident with. This feels like a money making machine first and foremost. I couldn't recommend them to anyone I know.

A highly diligent and proactive service

Knights provided an excellent proactive service in handling the conveyancing on our house purchase. Linda Gregory, assisted by Emerald Hutton were extremely diligent, kept us informed very regularly on the progress and gave sound advice along the way. Whilst Knights are not the cheapest for conveyancing, we saw the value of paying a little more in what proved to be a tricky transaction with a number of potentially contentious matters.
