GoogleBasically this company will encourage other buyers to gazumping you, I was hit by them a few years ago and yesterday again! I was invited to put a higher offer in as they are not "happy" with the current Sold STC price! avoid if you are a serious buyer.

However, as I am sure you are aware, by law all agents must put forward any offer they receive to the seller, up until the point of exchange, where it is the sellers ultimate choice if they wish to accept a higher offer or seek more money for their property. I was happy to read that the branch did give you the option to raise your offer, however I understand you declined to do so.
