GoogleI spoken with them on the phone on Friday and I explained them my situation. They agreed meeting on Monday. When I went there, didn’t even got the chance to say a word, they looked at my face and told me off. Please avoid if you’re not British. They are very racist and also made me take a day off from work to ruin it.

Sorry that you are upset that the landlady will not allow you to rent the property, we misunderstood your enquiry on Friday and thought it was for 2 and not 3 adults. The landlady of this property has specified on this property either a professionally couple or a small family. If we had understood it was for 3 cousins we would of explained and not wasted yours or our time arranging this appointment yesterday. We are in no way racist as more than 50% of our tenants are from outside the UK as you can see by our previous review this was from a satisfied tenant who is Eastern European. Unfortunately at the present time we do not have anything large enough to meet your requirements but if anything comes on in the near future we will give you a call.

GoogleI experienced my waste ever service from Kym/Kim. Very descriminatory and it got me depressed till this day. I have dealt with other agents before and even the lady who was with us during viewing was very helpful and so professional. Was then referred to call Kym/Kim and all hell broke loose maybe because of my foreign accent. I can never recommend anyone if they are to be attended by Kym/Kim

I feel fortunate to have found this agency because, as a foreigner, they were patient with me, explained things to me in detail, and thanks to that, I found an apartment that suited our needs and budget.The rental process was very quick, and Kym always stayed in touch with me.

Googlewe have rented through many estate agents over the last 20 years but Cooksley's go above and beyond to make sure that tenants are well taken care of and that the rental properties are kept to the highest standards, the office staff are all very approachable and very friendly and always ready to help with any issues, we have rented two properties from them over the last ten years and can honestly say that we have no complaints at all. They are top notch and i would recommend them to anyone looking to rent or buy a property.

GoogleI am just about to come to the end of renting a house for more than a decade with Cooksleys as the agent. I really can’t recommend them highly enough. I’ve rented property in and around Exeter for 30 years, both privately and through letting agents, and Cooksleys have provided far and away the best experience. They do everything regarding inspections and general upkeep to the letter, with great care not to inconvenience the tenant. Also, anything I reported as a concern with the house was dealt with very quickly, using very professional people to do any necessary work. The outstanding feature of dealing with Cooksleys, though, is that they really do care about their tenants at a personal level. When the house I had rented for so long was to be sold, meaning the tenancy would be terminated, I received a telephone call from Mark Reynolds (Managing Director) to tell me of this, because he did not wish me simply to receive an impersonal letter. That sort of kindness is rare in the renting world! And not only this. For 18 months I was stuck overseas due to the Covid-19 situation and Cooksleys were very understanding and absolutely brilliant in helping me maintain the house at a distance. In particular, the help I received from Nicola Reynolds (Director) was fabulous. A potentially very stressful situation was simply rendered not so. Over the period of ending the tenancy, Cooksleys have continued to be very supportive, too. Here I am much indebted to Kym Hamilton, who is a Letting Co-Ordinator at Cooksleys. If I have had a concern or a question, I have emailed Kym and had a close-to-immediate response, and the response has always been written in a way that, even as I am ending the tenancy, it clearly matters that my experience is a good one. GoogleThe 5 stars speak for themselves. We sold a property last year with Cooksleys and had as good an experience as this stressful process can get. When Duncan valued our place he was refreshingly honest about the price we could expect which is what we wanted. We were kept well informed about the whole sale process and it all went through efficiently.
