Paul was great, but we did not have great communication in the beginning.. we had to call to check how views went, not the other way around! But that soon changed after we brought it to his attention. A catalogue of errors and poor communication on the part of The Personal Agent resulted in a complete breakdown in the relationship between them and our buyers and they played a big part in us losing the house we were hoping to purchase. They were unable to communicate with any sensitivity and when our buyers refused to speak with them any more, we were left having to pick up the pieces and handle the transaction through to completion ourselves. When we raised the issue with The Personal Agent they refused to acknowledge that anything was wrong. To anyone considering them I would certainly encourage you to see beyond the smiles and sales patter.

While we're hopeful that all of our clients feel we provide an 'appealing service', although our recollection of events is significantly different, we again refer you to The Property Ombudsman if you would like to discuss this matter further. They are able to provide professional advice on your individual circumstances. We're sorry you feel disappointed that we were able to successfully sell your property above the asking price, but wish you all the best for the future.

Chris Sweby has maintained good contact and updates with me. He arranged, and carried out viewings efficiently. My main dissatisfaction is a lack of communication regarding instructions to contractors. I was not informed of visits by electrician and gas engineer. As a single elderly woman this is unsatisfactory. The energy performance contractor contacted me but I hadn’t been advised to expect this or given a contact name. Finally I requested no board to be put up but this has been ignored. Communication between members of the team has let you down.
