GoogleI sold my flat with John D Wood in Esher and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as the best agent in the area. I used many different agents during the process and the service at John D Wood was head and shoulders above anything else I experienced. Their commission was uber-competitive, their number and quality of viewers was better than anyone else and their service was fantastic both in terms of feedback in the viewing process and via after-offer support and dealing with solicitors.

Terrible experience.They are unprofessional and unreliable.. Contacted agency and fixed a time view property in Headington, Oxford. I went and waited near the property and no one turned up. After 20-25 mins I called them again and they were saying let is already agreed on that property. They had no courtesy to inform me and the viewing schedule was not even in their dairy!! I would not recommend this agency.

no deposit back after 10 weeks I rented from John D Wood for 2 years. They were unbelievably incompetent and non-responsive for the entire tenure. now I have to ring them every week to try to get my deposit back.

GoogleWe purchased our house through John D Wood & Co. in Esher and wanted to say what a pleasant surprise it was to have an agent that was so helpful from the very start of the process right through to the completion. Whenever we had course to call the agent she was readily available and on the rare occasion she was unavailable the rest of the team always were on hand to help.We would definitely use them again in the future and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Expect this company to be totally negligent returning your deposit (even if your landlord agreed for this to be released). They will make you chase your own money for weeks after you moved out, an absolute nightmare.

The worst agent service I have ever seen in my life. We have been dealing with them for more than a year. We wrote a letter to them complaining and nothing was ever done. They delegate their work to everyone, they just pretend they work. Never hire them.

J D Wood did a fantatic job helping us sell our flat in Wimbledon Park. We faced a few hurdles that were unexpected but Chris and Lewis got things on track and got the sale through when we had given up. I would thouroughly reccomend them if you are considering selling a property.

She was obviously knowledgeable about the product, prompt in placing the flat in the market and with viewings. I really would like to give Nadia, at John D Wood the opportunity to rent this flat for me when it becomes vacant again - I really valued and will value Nadia's approach.

Had a really good experience! Ellie Bowers the estate agent I was in contact with was very nice, efficient... She showed me a few properties and really into consideration what I liked and did not liked and found me the ideal flat. Her approach was not as salesy as can be with some other estate agents. Feels like she really cares about her customers. I would highly recommend.

The tenants that JDW found for me in 2019 decided to leave after one year, disappointingly, but JDW (Trinity Road branch, SW18) found two people who appear to be excellent replacements, with only a 10-day void. The necessary arrangements were all made in a professional manner. I'd particularly like to single out Shoeni Oates for the excellent service and advice I've received as an inexperienced landlord.
