Although their fees were slightly higher than other estate agents, I could tell from the very first visit/meeting that it would be worth it. I received a professional service throughout the whole process. Jessica and Natasha were amazing. Easy to communicate with, supportive, alway available to help and when they were not they got back to me in a very timely manner. They were the only constant form of communication in what was a stressful process which made life a lot easier for me. If I had to do this all over again I would still pick them. They are worth every penny. Highly recommend their friendly, down to earth, professional service. Thank you to the whole team at the chingford branch!!

GoogleHaving asked for valuations from most of Epping’s estate agents on our property, Douglas Allen were by far the most professional and on the ball from the get-go. They were excellent at explaining how they would market the property and all the tools they would use. Communication was genuinely great throughout the whole sales process, you can really just sit back and let these guys get on with the job knowing they are doing their best to sell your property. Special thanks to Lisa and Jack who were a pleasure to work with right through to exchange and completion. Highly recommend.

We met Lisa first and she blew us away with the service and care that they offer that we knew straight away they were the estate agents for us. Lisa promised that they would deliver and she more than delivered on it. Jack was then incredible in the process of selling our house, and was always available and updating us on how things were going. The initial meeting was professionally handled with all bases covered. Subsequently when faced with what appeared to be major problems with our purchaser, reassurance was provided and appropriate action taken promptly. Lynburge Rene was particularly helpful and supportive at this point. Sale has now been completed. I have already recommended a friend to the firm and their sale went through to their complete satisfaction.

Pls avoid this estate agent in Epping Essex .we have had a very a bad experience with Douglas and Allen “they have treated us really bad they have lied to us and left us dangling on the other end when they had told us they had sold the property we wanted to buy and they excepted our offer at that time .Douglas and Allen done a dirty and kept that property we wanted to buy for some one else and made out it was sold it’s disgusting for them to treat us like this so pls do not get caught out with this agent Douglas & Allen Epping .it’s a warning to everyone .

The Lettings Manager Joanna Martin went above and beyond to help myself and my children when became homeless in January 2022. Due to unfortunate circumstances, we ended up in a womens refuge because other agents were unable to help or even try to help. Thanks to Joanna we stayed in the hostel for less than 3 weeks as she managed to find a Landlord who would rent a property to us. I wish there were more agents out there like Joanna, I will be eternally grateful.

Maureen and her Team in the East Ham Branch were all excellent and very professional. Hasan dealt with any queries I had promptly, as did Rosalie. I was kept informed at all times in what can be a very stressful time. This was the second time my family have used this branch and both times the service was above and beyond of what was expected. We had an offer within the first week of the house going on the market. I would definitely recommend them.
