I recently sold my property through the Walthamstow branch of Douglas Allen.I had used two different estate agents previous to this with no luck but my house sold within a couple of weeks of going with Douglas Allen.I have mainly been dealing with Ameer and Maria and they have been really helpful. This is the first time I have sold a property so don’t really know the process but they have helped me through every step of the way and I have been able to go into branch (COVID safe) and they have helped me go through any paperwork I didn’t understand.Everyone in branch are really friendly and happy to deal with any queries.For anyone not sure which agents to go with when selling their property I would highly recommend these guys

He took the time to listen to what it was that we were looking for and thereafter arranged viewings which were suitable- this is in contrast to other estate agents. He has been patient with questions and queries we have constantly been throwing at him, always taking the time to answer without making us feel the troublesome customers we are- genuinely a lovely competent member of staff and evidence of the excellent recruitment at Douglas Allen. We were introduced to Douglas Allen Walthamstow via the Co-Operative Probate Service and Movewithus. We instructed them to sell our property. I wish I could find something positive to say about Douglas Allen Walthamstow and the Branch Manager but there is nothing. They completely wasted our time for over three months. We gave them notice and took our business else where. We instructed another estate agent, whose fees were cheaper, and they achieved a higher sale price, so we ended up being £12,000 better off. I DO NOT recommend Douglas Allen Walthamstow.

I keep getting unwanted letters from Douglas Allen Epping branch. I have several times had to ask for them to stop sending letters which you would have thought would be a fairly straight forward job. I have now spoken to the Branch manager of Epping and still no confirmation it has been done, he wanted to get me off the phone as soon as possible. I will never recommend or use this company as if something this simple cannot be resolved I could not begin to imagine how they could sell a property. In response to the reply - I have already contacted the other department and they have no records either so it looks like I will still he receiving this unwanted post. Proving my previous point of the company being incapable of the simplest task.

He knows his area amazingly well, has great insight, and his communication and people skills allow him to really get alongside a customer. I have never met an estate agent like him.
