Douglas Allen were a nice company to deal with. They were not your typical pushy agent but they were assertive. There were a few problems throughout the legal process once we had sold but Keith took each one in his stride with Steve taking a hard line with our buyers when they started delaying the process. It all fell back into place with a no nonsense approach and we moved last month. Very grateful to you all.

Barkingside estate agents

This is our first house purchase and we have been very happy with Douglas Allen Barkingside branch. Ummad was the person that we first met when viewing and felt straight away that he was someone that could trust and he knew a lot about the property. There were some teething problems, however we were reassured by Ummad and Daniel. We would recommend Douglas Allen as a good all round estate agent and their local knowledge was excellent.

I had a really positive experience buying multiple properties with the Chadwell Heath branch of Douglas Allen, particularly in comparison to some of the other estate agents in the area. The phone was always answered, calls always returned and there was a good level of communication throughout the entire process. Would avoid at all costs

Would avoid at all costs. Over price your house then encourage you to drop the price after a week when it has no interest.Constantly say they’re emailing and calling potential buyers, when the website statistics say different. Everything is done at a snails pace. After we switched estate agents they left the house up for sale in the window for 3 weeks even though we weren’t selling with them anymore… that’s how absent minded they are. If you want a stress free and smooth sale go with Temme English. If you want to sell your house for £20k less than it’s worth go with Alex at Douglas Allen.

Very unprofessional Estate Agent

I had a very bad experience with Douglas Allen Loughton Branch. They showed me a property which I liked. So I made an offer. Since then they tried to fix me with their financial advisor which I was not interested. As soon as I refused to go along with their appointment they telephoned to say that the house had been sold. That was not true as I checked online that the house is still available for sale. They kept telling me that my offer was too low۰They tried to put me through they are on advisory/Solicitor to push me increase my offer.I found them very unprofessional and very uncaring.
