I have appointed Butler & Stag at the Bow office for the sale of my property and I have to say this has been the best choice.After a number of setbacks from other agencies I searched online for the best reviews and this agency came out as highly recommended and this could not be more accurate.From the beginning my sale negotiator Rob Burgess has been an absolute diamond: calm, professional, patient, and with a wealth of knowledge of the market and the area which I believe is unsurpassed. Throughout the whole process he kept me up-to-date in a timely manner, I never had to chase him for a response and most of the time all questions and enquiries were dealt with before I could even ask them. Although there have been a few hurdles to overcome (nothing to do with the agency) he always kept a calm and professional attitude, he knew what to do and how to take things further. From the first week of the property on the market he organised a substantial number of viewings, feedback and updates were given promptly so I always knew where I was. His "can do" and "will do" attitude combined with a realistic and honest valuation of the property has lead to a successful transaction.During the last few weeks I also dealt with Amanda Schiavi, the Company Sales Progressor and again I was absolutely satisfied with the service and professionalism shown, she went out of her way to keep everything in order, and keep the momentum going. A+++ for communication, A+++ for professionalism. I could not have made a better choice. I highly recommend Butler & Stag if you ever want to sell your property. We would highly recommend Butler and Stag. We were very impressed by Milo O’Neill’s professionalism and appraisal of our property at our first meeting with him. He gave us confidence that the team would work hard to find the right buyer. He maintained regular contact with us throughout the process giving us honest feedback and advice. This was an emotional sale for us and Milo was always very sensitive to that which we really appreciated. Thank you too to Bradley Gale and also to Amanda Schiavi. I recently bought a house through Butler and Stag. Milo was fantastic, I had viewed a house previously and he remembered my criteria and called me when a suitable house came onto the market. Bradley showed me around and really helped when we had a slight hiccup prior to exchange. And finally Amanda who seemed to be on call 24/7 to answer any questions. We recently moved (bought and sold) with Butler and Stag. I have to say they were excellent through the whole process. Milo was on hand to answer my questions and explain everything clearly and honestly. It was a big move for us emotionally and the agents made it an easier process. Agents get a bad rap but these guys don't live up to the stereotype. I'd definitely recommend to anyone. We're very happy in our new home although we miss the old one very much. BORN & LIVED MOST OF OUR LIVES IN CHINGFORD…

Having lived in Chingford (in the same house) for longer than we wish to mention and having brought our children up here, it was quite a wrench to remove ourselves from the house and also Chingford itself. Chingford is a great place to live - schools, forest, transport connections but.... age forced our decision to downsize. We were scared at the prospect of the whole moving process but we had no need to worry - Milo and Amanda virtually held our hands through the "trauma" smoothing our path and being there for us whenever we had the collywobbles! Bless you, Milo and Amanda, pleased to report that we are very happy with our "new" property - even though we miss Chingford just a little.

It was a long journey with a couple of couples having to back out for different reasons which were unexpected, but within days they did not rest on their laurels, it was back to business every time and with another buyer on board. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. The service we received from Butler and Stag was superb from start to finish, especially from Chris and Neil. The whole team are extremely professional, friendly, and quick to respond, with in-depth knowledge of the local area and beyond. They were transparent and fair throughout our dealings, and unlike many other estate agents I’ve dealt with in the past, they were not pushy and I never felt pressured. I am in the process of purchasing a property being handled by Tony Game, of Butler & Stag from their Theydon Bois office. Professionally, I have dealt with very many estate agents over the years and they vary from the frankly useless to the very good. From the time when we first met outside the property we are now buying, I believe that we have had a very honest and open relationship. I missed out on the original bid, as we were unable to sell our house quickly enough. However, the house came back on the market just as we found buyers for our house and we received a call from Tony to advise us that it was back on. We therefore visited the house again and put in an offer which was accepted. The deal did collapse again, as my buyers stupidly did their sums badly and withdrew, making a significantly lower offer. I then advised Tony. He negotiated a reduction with his client and we reduced our asking price similarly, so that we could put the deal back together again. Tony has been in constant touch with me throughout the process and has always taken a pragmatic approach in order to get the deal across the line. I know this has included working very closely with his sellers to find them the right home, which enabled them to reduce their price. I value honesty and openness and treat buying a house as a business transaction, at least until completion. I explained my approach to Tony and we agreed from the beginning that we would be honest, frank and open with each other. I am pleased to say that that has been the case. Getting back to my second paragraph, I would say that my dealings with Tony convince me that he is in the 'very good' category. He cares about what he does and why he does it and I would happily have him represent me in the event that I sell this house in the future. He conducts himself in a very straight-forward manner and does what he says he will do. As he does not represent me in this transaction, I honestly can't ask for anything more.

After finding the house of our dreams my wife and myself had to sell our property which wasn’t on the market, we contacted butler&stag, and Tony Game, who quickly got to work getting our house in the market with first class photos and fast advertising which brought in a lot of viewings with first offers, which we have accepted. I’m sure this was down to good pricing knowledge and vetting the right people for the property. Words are my business, but even bearing that in mind, it's difficult to find enough superlatives to praise the amazing service we've had from Tony Game at Butler and Stag. We faced a difficult and potentially stressful time, putting our elderly parents' house on the market and going through all the paperwork that entails. Butler and Stag were recommended to us, and from the first moment I spoke to Tony on the phone, I knew we were in safe hands. From the very first, he has been friendly, professional, knowledgeable, helpful and incredibly hard-working.
