Dear MarcoWe have looked into your complaint and although we understand your grievance and frustration, we are legally required to put all offers to our vendor.We asked both yourself and the other candidate to put forward your best and final offer, and yours was accepted. It was only after we informed the other party that they had been unsuccessful that they chose to put forward a higher offer. We legally have to put all offers to the vendor, at any stage during a transaction until contracts have exchanged, so our hands were tied. I the past I've not had a great experience with estate agents so was pleasantly surprised using WJ Meade. The team were friendly and helpful - even offering to help me move furniture about to improve my sale chances on one occasion. They worked hard on our behalf and gave good advice. I have used WJMeade for around 4years to let my property. I opted for the the full package and to date not had an, emergency, problem to deal with. With a couple of the minor problems, they contacted me and I arranged to deal with the repairs. Their diligence with finding a decent tenant has payed off, as I’ve had no problems. Their 6 monthly report on the condition of the property, works like clockwork.

GoogleWell, I had a smell coming from my drain or so I thought and one of them said she'd come over at around 8 but for me that was a bit late especially as I have kids who have school, so i politely declined then she said she could just get my door key from the office and check my house any time. Overall, WJ Meade have been so helpful and I'm very grateful for their services.

In a very tough market WJ Meade achieved a sale very close to asking price without much fuss. No nonsense and very honest approach particularly with regards valuation was very key. Rather than inflate to win a mandate WJ Meade will give you a realistic idea of what a buyer will actually pay and then work hard to outperform that. Great local knowledge. Very professional throughout and highly recommended.

Haris, in the Mile End office, always goes beyond his remit, to make sure the right tenants are found, the properties are routinely and thoroughly inspected, and provides a First Class service on all levels. I have also had dealings with the Sales team on occasions, and again, highly recommended.
