I arranged a 5pm viewing. I was advised that the viewing had moved to 17.30 when I was already at the property with my son. The agent didn't meet myself and the 2 other families waiting until 17.50 without any further call or even apology. Infact he had the audacity to argue with me about it.I have not experienced such an unprofessional service from an estate agent in 15 years.

My husband and I purchased a flat recently through Martyn Gerrard, North Finchley. They were fantastic. Arzu kept us informed throughout the process and dealt with our queries promptly. Furthermore, as we were planning to rent out the property, the lettings agents, Faisal, got in touch with us very quickly and dealt with all our questions in a professional and efficient way. The team were really keen to start working with us and provide great support to the school via our Winter and Summer Fairs. They are always responsive, provide great artwork, raffle prizes and sponsorship. They have a genuine interest in Eleanor Palmer and the other schools they partner with and are a genuine pleasure to engage with. Without our additional fund raising the children would get no school trips, new climbing frames, music lessons, etc. so we are grateful for the work they do and support they provide. Great estate agents.Fatmir and Craig (North Finchley) were excellent throughout the process. They were always available and provided a clear channel of communication between all parties involved in our purchase. Any discussion point through the transaction was dealt with in an articulate and mature way to ensure all parties were satisfied with the outcome.MG clearly took on board what we wanted in terms of viewing properties (style/age, size, garden, driveway etc) for our purchase and they tailored the properties they sent to us to match what we wanted/what we said we wanted from our search.We also saw a few properties with the MG Totteridge branch and James from there was just as helpful.Just by chance we have used Martyn Gerrard for both purchases (in 2019 and now 2024) and would recommend viewing properties with them following two great purchase experiences. They clearly pick up the mandates for good housing stock wherever they are based.

So Martyn Gerrard estate agents decided whilst paying the rent that’s owed on the 18th of every month. Decided that it was ok to not pay the rent on the 18th and they with sort it out the following week. The accounts team apparently went home!
We sincerely apologise for the delay you experienced in receiving the rent payment. We understand how crucial it is for landlords to receive timely payments, and we always strive to ensure rent is transferred promptly. In this instance, it appears there was a delay in receiving the rent into our account. Whether this was due to the tenant paying late or a delay in the banking system, we can't tell. However, as soon as the payment was received into our account, we immediately processed it, and you should have received the rent on the 20th.We appreciate your understanding. If you have any further concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.
