I've had the pleasure in working with Laura at Haarts Estate Agents when searching for a property to buy in the Ely area. July/August 2022 We are more than impressed by Callum and Scott who have demonstrated utter professionalism when conducting us on a viewing, Callum was very polite and accommodated the needs of the elderly vendor with complete respect, he showed us the property and spent time with us explaining the situation. Subsequently we have entrusted Haart Ely to market our property, we are very impressed with the preparation of the sales brochure and online marketing. June 2024 Fifteen months on, after an upheld complaint to The Property Ombudsman regarding their poor communication, not completing proper due diligence checks on prospective buyers, etc etc we refused to pay the full sale fee. Our complaints were dealt with distain, trying to belittle our legitimate complaints by two very condescending and patronising people, Anne Boylan & Rebecca Middleton. After several months & 3 investigations they conclude they had done nothing wrong, we referred our complaints to the ombudsman and were awarded £400! It took 14 months to come to conclusion because the number of complaints about Estate agent services are at an all time high! A damming indictment on the state of this industry, who got used to pocketing huge fee's for very poor service. Overall the sales & marketing was fair, and our house did sell but the management of the sale & purchase was woeful. In conclusion we could not recommend this company from our experience with them. If you had/have issues with them complain, keep your money, earn some interest, and let the ombudsman decide. We had no apology after the decision either, just a payment demand. Says it all really. Avoid!

Our family bought a property with the Haart team 2 years ago, and it was a great experience. The communication was excellent. At that time, I already had a good impression of Haart. Over the past year, my partner and I have been looking to buy a property. We have had experience with multiple estate agent companies, and I have no doubt to say that Haart in Ely is definitely one of the best. The staff are highly professional and genuinely helpful. In our recent search, Laura is our main point of contact, and she is truly amazing. I can feel her enthusiasm in her role and her compassion in helping clients (e.g. us) to find the most suitable property. Brilliant experience using Scott Hall when selling my house. I initially wasn’t sure whether I was ready to put the house on the market and this was fully supported by Scott. At no point did I feel pressured to put the house on the market even after he took the time to take the pictures of the property. Once I was ready I contacted Scott and he quickly uploaded the property onto the market. The communication throughout was impeccable and I was informed of every stage of the process.
