Let me explain that I have been in sales for most of my working life. This inevitably makes me a potentially difficult client to please. Our experiences with estate agents in the past has not been good. From the outset I wanted to deal with one person - a single point of contact - for the sale of our property. In previous experiences much fell between the cracks as we dealt with whoever picked up the phone or happened to be in the office that day. Bannisters chose Charlotte to deal with these potentially difficult customers (us).From the outset she came across as a very personable young lady to deal with and quickly established our trust that she would serve her company and us well.As things transpired the house that our family have purchased was also being handled by Bannisters.There was a potential complication in the transactions because the house that my wife and I owned was being sold while our daughter was the purchaser of the new house. Whist confidentiality wasn't an issue within our family, Charlotte acted properly throughout, recognising that she had two separate clients when it would be more common to have only one.A word of advice to anyone considering which estate agent to use. A single point of contact is to my mind crucial to a good relationship between agent and client.

GoogleI cannot recommend Bannister’s highly enough. From start to finish Mathew, Ian and the staff in Brough could not have done more to ensure the smooth transition through what could have been a difficult sale. We had several agents to give us quotes but quite honestly Bannister’s stood out from the crowd. Mathew took the time to get to know the house so he could pass on valuable information to other staff and prospective purchasers and it put our minds at rest that we could leave it all them. We found all the staff to be very professional and nothing was too much trouble. They dealt with queries from us and the purchaser quickly and efficiently which is certainly not what we have experienced before from other estate agents and we have bought a lot of houses🤣. GoogleMy wife and I had a few disappointing experiences during the period of selling our property with alternative agents in the area, however Matthew, Ian and the team offered a renewed enthusiasm when we opted to utilise Philip Bannister Elloughton. Not only do they deliver an excellent service becoming of an agent they offer services out of scope as part of their engagement such as liaising with all parties solicitors, acting as point of contact for all the chain participants, agents and surveyors. Our property was sold within weeks of sourcing Philip Banister and were guided personally through the process from start to finish serving to reassure us through such a pressurised period.
