Lucky to even get 1 star these are an absolute jobs worth run you through every take money from you and then cancel your application due to their delays now left to source a home else where I was due to be living in the property after 15 days of making the holding fee absolutey horrendous business

Hello Jamie, We're very disappointed to read your negative review. Yes, we can confirm your application was cancelled by the landlord but this was due to them having have waited 35 days since your application form was sent for your references to be returned. They were unable to wait any longer for a tenant. We understood that some of the delay was out of your personal control but when we cannot obtain references despite persistent chasing, we cannot proceed with offering a tenancy. As you are aware, we refunded your holding fee in full so whilst you may not have secured the property, you did not lose any money. I think the gag clause in the tenancy agreements, which prevents posting reviews ect, is the reason the average score is not lower!! No one can review their experience!

Avoid this Agent. This is a joke. Still wondering why this Agent stil here. Letting me an old apartment. Just after 3 months, we had to moved out there was mould on the wall, which affected our newborn baby. And the ridiculous part is that the Agent didn't return the deposit and used the deposit for re-decorating the wall due to mould. They compromised with a private contractor saying that the mould was because of the tenants. This is a joke. Never never never deal with this ABC property. A truly recommendation

Hello, Having looked into your tenancy information, we can see that you not once reported any issue with mould prior to vacating. The mould was discovered by us after you vacated and you vacated at the end of your fixed term tenancy as you stated you would be at the commencement as this wasn't a permanent property for you. All of our deposits are held by the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) and they made a decision on whether a deposit deduction is awarded to the landlord, ABC as the agent do not. The DPS are fair, unbiased and regulated. Your review contains libel comments. We profusely deny the allegation of conspiring with a contractor. 3 independent contractors all surveyed the property and it was deemed that the toxic mould was caused by a tenant's living and not a natural occurrence. Due to the libel, we request that you remove or amend your review. Thank You, ABC Property Shop

Do not remove this complaint, I've made on behalf of my partner, the tenant agreement from ABC has a gagging order preventing a negative review, so they can force it to be removed. Most unprofessional vile bunch of cowboys I've ever encountered, avoid like the plague

I had broken toilet for over 2 months with toilet water leaking into the dining room and under the floor boards I had a broken boiler that was eventual replaced after 3 months I was broken into through back door and was replaced with see through glass i was locked in my house from the inside and door was opened by agency but was left with a giant hole for over 6 weeks when asked over getting fixed was told if I was going to get broken into I would get broken into regardless of hole in door or not. Done nothing but decorate the home and was given less then mediocre reference, also had environmental health out over black mould, abc didn’t even acknowledge this!

Gave them a list of things that needed fixing at the property and nothing was done for the year and a half we were there. They would never try to accommodate for people working 9-5 mon-Fri so had to use holidays for inspection and other things , general phone manner is terrible, wouldn't speak to my enemies with the tone they used. Only positive from our experience with ABC Is a staff member called Ebony she was delightful to talk to, she is wasted at that company

Having looked at your tenancy, the property was fully refurbished prior to you moving in and during your tenancy, any repairs and maintenance issues you have raised have been dealt with. Whilst yes, our inspections are conducted between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, we give all tenants the option to change to suit them (providing it is within office hours) and also give tenants the option to have somebody else grant access or even allow our agents to use our master keys if they wish. We're sorry if you feel our customer service has let you down, your feedback has been noted. We've also passed on your compliments to Ebony and management. Absolutely amazing service had from all. I was really keen to look at a property, but due to me working full time, was unable to make it through the week. They had accommodated this for me and made an appointment for me to go over the weekend. The member of staff was very helpful and polite and throughout my whole processing time, the staff were all really helpful and answered any queries I had. Very friendly and made my move really easy for me and my two children. I had been going through a rough patch but the guys at ABC really helped me through it. Thank you so much to all staff at ABC!!!

Absolute awful company, bin in my property 4 years and had nothing but problem after problem, when something needs fixing they are so rude to you and leave as long as possible, for example left me for 3 weeks with no boiler when I have 2 babies and was the middle of winter! Made me move out for a week 3 days before I give birth, now 4 years later I have bin refused a refrence because I need one for my new property that I am waiting to move in to. Joke of a company would deffinatly not recommend!

Appalling. Moving in date was delayed several weeks to allow for damp works, we moved out ten months later due to excessive damp mould growth in all rooms of the property, causing chunks of plaster to fall off the bathroom wall, shoes to grow mouldy just by being in the hallway for any prolonged period of time and a multitude of health problems. ABC offered to send somebody to survey the issue but refused to offer any times outside of Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, leaving us the option of taking time off work or getting out as fast as possible. Pre-Vacation inspection was not arranged very quickly and we did not receive enough time to make any alterations they suggested. Deposit has not been returned, nor has any contact been made to discuss the deposit, almost a month after we vacated. Also, when our boiler broke down ABC sent someone to repair it but the key they provided did not fit the lock to our building so this work was also delayed, and we ended up having to take time off work to accommodate. Generally unhelpful, difficult to reach and slow to react. The property was a disgrace and both the landlord and letting agent should be ashamed of themselves. Avoid ABC Properties for your own safety.

Disgusting how they treat their omgoing tenants. Been waiting since December to sort out my front door which doesn't lock properly or even shut properly. I've been having omgoing problems with my boiler and other bits and before anything gets done I either have to report them to the housing or threaten to do so. Been with them for almost 2 years and it's non stop hassling them to fix things. Soon as I refuse payment they come knocking on my door demanding payment. Did this last week and the next day someone came to look at my door. Now waiting for them to actually confirm that the door cam actually get fixed. My heating isn't working so phone the emergency number for them to come fix it and I have to wait till tomoz before they do anything. Not much of an emergency number is it. I'd give no stars if there was an option. Appalling

We was suppose to going away for the weekend in one of there properties for a weekend, however due to COVID-19 it was cancelled these refused to give us the money back and said there company was not offering refunds. Having rented a property from them for nearly 3 years. Only had one visit and was praisedfor it. Few months ago. Put my notice in...wow attitude is not the word for the way i have been treated since. Joke if an agency. Won't schedule viewings outside of their office hours, Monday-Friday 10-4. So how is anyone with a full time job supposed to view? I wonder if their clients know this? I've also noticed the 'good' reviews on here are 2 x people with no other reviews & 1 person who's other reviews are for places in Nottingham or Cyprus. Does that seem a bit dodgy to you??

Amazing how the reviews for ABC are either 5 star or 1 star!! Suspicious to me that!!!! Could this be real tenants giving real reviews or is it the landlords? Also I think the 4.1.17 gagging order against tenants complaing on social media for 3 years is a nice touch great contract manager can I have his phone number.
