I was looking for my first even home and went through different estate agents in Manchester, myself and my mum meet Kayley and Jasmine from Sell Well estate agent, they listened to what I was looking for and the area I was interested in due to my work. They showed us various properties in Manchester and gave me a beautiful house, the team were so patient with me going through my solicitor and all the hustle of buying a house, their support was just excellent, and I am so grateful with the team when I collected my keys from them. Please do not use this company. Avoid at all costs! Because it will cost you! What this company has put my family through is beyond horrendous. We marketed our property in November 2024. I express on numerous occasions that I was on maternity leave and we desperately needed the property to sell in a timely manner. We had an offer that wasn’t confirmed in writing to us. The same individual offered again at a later date and we were not informed that this was the same person who withdrew an earlier offer. We then unknowingly proceeded to agree a sale with this individual and were told specifically that they had a rather large deposit, that Sell Well had seen and confirmed the deposit as proof of funds. We got all the way to the end of the sale, signed our contracts to the solicitors for then the buyers solicitor had gone quiet. A staff member from Sell Well called me and said oh the buyer can’t complete the sale their deposit is coming from a divorce! Advising me that they knew nothing about this and did I know anything! There was never any proof of funds. It was all a lie. We have been strung along for months! The incompetence of this company is a total joke. Do not use them. They issued a memorandum of sale in writing advising a deposit amount that did not exist. They have called me repeatedly and advised that we should carry on with the sale, that we stick with the buyer. Only to be dropped months down the line as they have now apparently found another property. Please avoid and consider other estate agents. I have complained in writing to them and I will be taking this to the Ombudsman if it isn’t properly sorted. 7 months of our time they have wasted! I’m totally disgusted. Not professional in any way shape or form. Dreadful!!!

Julie was very professional, very helpful and very friendly, she was very knowledgeable, she attended early and communicated this to me and really took that little bit of extra time to give me the opportunity to have a good look around the property and gave me confidence that if she didn’t have the answer she would find it out. It was a family home that was owned for over 30 years so it was important to us all it was passed it on to the right buyer. I recently sold my house through this company and, although the process was very long due to many factors, the service I received from Rebecca was exceptional. She guided me through every step of the process, always working around my needs. She liaised with the conveyancing lawyer, the buyers, and also with other difficult parties involved in the transaction, including my ex, which made the sale far from easy. Sellwell sold our house in a fairly slow market towards the end of 2025. Marketing photos, virtual viewing, room plans and description attracted viewings well. Viewings were conducted efficiently and we received feedback from all viewings to understand how viewers had assessed our home. Once an offer was accepted the conveyancing process dragged on for 6 months due to inefficient, frustrating solicitors up and down a fairly short mainly cash transactional chain. Claire at Sellwell was resposive to our calls, helpful with her insights to the process and kept us updated on progress. She also chased our buyer's solicitor and our own solicitor to keep the process moving in addition to liasing with our new home's estate agents. When selling your home the choice of estate agents is critical. Chosing Sellwell as a professional, experienced, friendly company will not only price your home correctly and sell it, but crucially keep the legal process moving and guide you along the way.
