GoogleI viewed and applied for a flat with TFC but then did not proceed (for personal reasons, not due to any problem with TFC). The employees I interacted with were friendly, communication was prompt, and I was allowed plenty of time at the viewing. Only negative point was that the referencing procedure was rather long and complicated.

GoogleOur experience with The Flat Company has been great. Out property manager was always quick to reply and maintence problems were solved very quickly. However, we believe our landlady was easy to contact for them which may be why our problems were fixed quickly. Still a good company to rent from, speaking from experience of other places around Edinburgh.

GoogleThis company lets out substandard properties, fails to carry out repairs, and then steals the deposit for bogus charges at the end of the tenancy.
Angus, thank you for taking the time to post this review. I have looked for your tenancy and I managed to find it from 2008 and I can see that there were some disputes regarding the deposit. However, I can also see that we provided a detailed inventory showing why all the deductions had to be made and were necessary. I have also looked through your entire tenancy and I have been unable to find any maintenance issue that was reported and not resolved in a timely manor. I have tried to contact you directly but I suspect the contact information we have for you isn't up to date given your tenancy ended almost 10 years ago. I would therefore ask that you contact our company directly through our website: www.flatcompany.com or by phone: 0131 226 7733 so that even if we are unable address these issues I could at least discover what they are exactly and also to find out what prompted such a negative after almost a decade of not having been one of our tenants. GoogleAVOID this letting agency no matter what, i should have listen to other reviews; but first of first a bit about them: conceited, otiose, useless bunch of people, they do not care about the property nor about the tenant, they only care about the money; so be wise and do something useful with your little hard earned money.
