GoogleAbsolutely the best letting agency I have dealt with. From the fantastic communication when applying and moving in, that they continued throughout our whole tenancy period, to the ease and positivity they gave us through moving out. I can not recommend Kat and the team more. Flexible, compassionate and trustworthy. Won the lottery when finding a property with them.

GoogleTo make prospective tenants aware, this agency requires an immediate tenancy deposit after an interest form is approved by the landlord but prior to the full application (references, financials) being submitted/approved, as well as prior to the tenancy agreement being signed. I'm not a lawyer, but from my own research this leaves the prospective tenant in a precarious position until the tenancy agreement is signed, as it would be difficult to provide proof to get the deposit back if something went awry. I don't believe this is common practice in Scotland and personally chose to not progress with this agency due to this requirement.

GoogleThe whole team at SMART are friendly, professional and efficient. We were tenants of theirs and the whole experience couldn’t have been smoother and I’m sure it’s much the same if you’re a landlord. They all go above and beyond with a special mention to Beverley who most of our dealings were with. Highly recommend!

GoogleThe Smart Property group has been amazing. We typically work with Bev, but in the times she has been on leave, other agents have done very well to accommodate our needs. Bev and the rest of the team always respond promptly and kindly. They make us feel very cared for and have even checked in on our dog by name. This morning we had an electrical issue and reached out at 6 am, Bev had responded by 7 and an electrician was out by 11:30. The contractors they have sent out have been professional and kind as well. Keep up the good work! We are grateful for everything you do.

GoogleWhen we moved to Edinburgh we didn't know what to expect. We had been given worrying advice about agencies, so we were sceptical. How very wrong we were! This letting agency is a 5* agency. There will always be issues with housing - and I am easily displeased - but with this agency in charge, it could not have been made easier to have problems resolved. When we moved to another part of Edinburgh, of course we chose this agency again before any other. Phil, Richard, Cat etc. are a top team! Phil is akin to the superman of letting agents. He is punctual, reliable, calm in a crisis, consistent and most importantly - honest! We totally loved him and would return to Smart Letting above all others in Edinburgh, if we were ever to return.

GoogleI rented a small 1 bed flat with smart property for a year and a half. They have always been very professional, helpful and quick to reply to any concerns or questions. I unfortunately had to end my tenancy, and they were also very good with giving me the necessary information. I would recommend this letting agency company, they are an honest and fair company which can be hard to find.
