Smart Property saved me when I couldn't find a 6-month short term rental in Edinburgh. Not only did they find a great apartment but an equally great landlord. I dealt with Kat Usher briefly but mostly had Gregor as my problem solver and support. Gregor is great. He responded promptly, took care of issues immediately (they were small things because Smart really maintains the properties), and sweetly laughed at my odd American humor. So much better than a US rental agent.

Great lettings agency, we were based in London and it was very dificult to find properties in Edinburgh, Gregor was amazing and helped us to find the perfect property in Edinburgh, everything was smooth and never an issue, we been here for over one year! I would love to continue with the tenancy but unfortunatly current landlady is planning to sell the proprty and they got all other props rented out. its a sad that I'm moving away but these guys were really great.

Kat and her team helped not myself with a rental property, but my wife and family with multiple buy to lets. No matter who we dealt with, communication was always prompt, clear and helpful. We’ve moved away from Edinburgh now, so it made sense for us to sell our properties. No surprises that we let Kat and her team handle this too, and even less surprising was the fine job they did with viewings etc. All in all, whether you’re looking for someone to handle your let as a landlord, or to handle the sale of your home, we can’t recommend Kat and the team at SMART highly enough!

Been living in private rented homes for 14 years and hands down smart property is the best. I’ve lived in this home for almost 7 years and could not have asked for a better letting agents to go with. Kat and the team have been so prompt dealing with any issues with the property or surrounding it - also helps that I’ve had a great landlord in all that time too. They are very communicative, give plenty of notice for inspections, they are respectful when carrying them out and overall they are just a team of very nice people. I’ve been in quite a few accommodations over the years and have went through periods of frustration when it takes so long to get things done or you can’t get a hold of someone etc. I don’t have these issues at all with smart. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent.

I've used Smart to let my property since 2014 and would recommend them to anybody. I've always had great service and I know they look after their tenants really well which is very important to me. They are really quick to respond to you and sort out any issues. There was recently a leak in my flat which had to go through insurance. This could have been a really stressful situation but Kat dealt with the claim and organising all the works to be done so the hard stuff was taken out of my hands.

Smart property is simply fantastic and Kat was an excellent property manager. Due to my job, I’ve rented a lot of places over the years and dealt with lots of estate agents.
